I got my wisdom teeth out

I've never felt such pain before in my life it feels like somebody punched me 100 times and my dentist (aka crazy surgeon) cut a pocket in mouth to hold my teeth and I have 5 stitches.

I might overdose on painkillers I swear 2 god't.

I got it done on Monday and I still feel like shit I eat through a straw.

i had about 2 or 3 of wisdom teeth out and tbh the pain wasn't bad. i was surprised.. i didn't take that much pills too but the thing i hated the most was the feeling of gauze in my mouth. i felt like vomiting cause of that

It hurts now, but in the long run you'll be thankful when they don't mess up your teeth alignment and damage nerves. Stay strong! The pain only gets better! :)

don't use a straw, the suction pressure aggravates bleeding dude D:

Also this!!! Try drinking meal replacements stuff to get yourself nutrients.

Damn that sucks, were they impacted? I had hardly any pain. Didn't even use any of the vicodin they gave me. Bled like a mofo for about a week though.

Yep, impacted teeth suck I was knocked out and woke up with a pumpkin face all swollen.

it's better not to spit. keep like a towel by your mouth to help the drooling.

Oh dear... >.<

The users above are right about the straw! If the clot dislodges from the suction pressure, you can get a dry socket which will cause persistent and intense pain days after the surgery.

If you find yourself taking a lot of painkillers but it isn't helping, perhaps it's a good idea to go back to your dentist to get some stronger painkillers?

Here are some tips on wisdom tooth extraction aftercare.

I hope you have a speedy recovery!

I had all four removed at once and stitches on all sides of my mouth.  It literally feels like someone sewed your mouth together, so I feel for you.  I don't think I had too much pain though.  But yeah, don't use a straw and try drinking/eating cold things.  I used to eat a lot of those frosty things from Wendy's for the first couple of days or so.  Hot food was a no go for me.  I ate everything lukewarm or cold.  Also make sure you have some ice packs or something.  I hope you feel better soon.

It's so weird. I had impacted teeth and had all four chopped out but I didn't feel a thing. In saying that, I took anti anxiety tabs and Tramadol before so maybe that helped. It was just odd because of all the horror stories I heard, and then I go and get in trouble because I was trying to film the whole thing on my phone. lol

The stitches were a bitch to deal with though and I ended up cutting them out because they refused to dissolve after 3 weeks.

Good luck!
