This was never supposed to be a serious thread.

i wasnt, egyptians arent arabs

You're ignorant if you believe that Egytians view themselves as Africans when they clearly disassociate themselves from them, especially from their neighbour Sudan. Yes, technically it is located in Africa, but history has shaped them to be more Arabs than Africans. The idea of being African-Arab is also off the table for them so yes, they are Arabs and insist to be seen that way. Can't see how you walking in with that silly attitude is going to change anything. Plus, today Egypt is recognized for kick-starting the Arab revolution, not the African revolution.

Anyways, the most important things in weddings for me are the food and the dabkeh

I always get surprised by how much people can eat

Dabkeh... is it ever possible to complain about it? It literally is the one thing that gets the party started, and it never happens without a track from Fares Karam.

i thought this is how they party

Actually, that is how they party in every party... except for weddings -_-

Tunisia started the arab revolution

1. Tunisia is not recognized as Arab, but African-Arab.

2. Their revolution was irrelevant to the West so it barely got any international coverage

... and it's the people of the Khaleej i.e. the ones who have the strongest misogynistic rules implemented in society with the help o their own Government. Sometimes, I can't help but face-palm at them....
