Wow this came out of nowhere. Guess it goes to show how crazy volatile the trainee life is specially for small company girls.

 

Second time moving threads for Sua, ready to learn about the other 6 girls. Bless Yoonjung for giving Sua a chance to showcase her dancing abilities.

 

Btw anyone knows why there are 7 names but 8 girls at the end of the teaser? Or am I counting wrong?

OMG don't! I mean, I'd love it, but if I'm keeping the hope alive, and it's not her,  I'll be hella disappointed all over again, mess!

As much as it would be great I think it is not likely. Sua basically erased every social media thing she had so my guess is Y&H is not letting them have personal sns accounts and last time I checked Jungmin's instagram is still public. I know he was just kidding but still. Also I think since the group and individual pics are out and we have no more 8th girl appearance I think that it was just a abstract thing for the teaser rather than a indication of an eighth member. Although the first teaser with eight hands is still weird in my scenario.

 

The photos mostly came out really well, only Hyeonju I think they could have chosen a better picture. Not to mention she is the only one looking at the camera. Where your consistency at Y&H, jk.

 

Since this is all pre-debut stuff I'll hold my judgement on concept and such cause who knows how their debut is gonna be. I just wish they get a V app channel or something better than Afreeca TV. That one works really poorly for me.

They posted an article on the company twitter saying there were 8 members and the group account also retweeted so i don't think they are just seven.

They are prob revealing her later on the showcase or even when they are close to debut.

 

I'd prefer if they were streaming on v app too since it's easier for me. I've never streamed anything on afreecatv but i'm always seeing people complaining about it

Wasn't that article talking about 7-8 not straight up 8?

Articles before debut were saying 7 to 8, the one they posted after the first teaser was legit saying 8. But it's getting weirder that they are leaving one member out.

Not really liking the idea of singling out a member. That really hampered down some groups imo. I hope they have a good reason for it, like she is still underage and in school so they are holding her back, or something like that. I'll have to see. Holding judgement until it's revealed why they are keeping her a mystery.

 

I like all the pictures so far, and this time they chose a good shot for Hyeonju.

 

Y&H starting off real well on pleasing me with that Sua dance video. Can't wait to see what the others are going to show.

 

Quite curious about what their concept is gonna be. We have nothing on them yet, I think, so it's hard to pinpoint how they are going to go. I would like something more mature but not straight up sexy, but that's just the style I prefer. Don't know how it would fit this group of girls.

 

They all look pretty but right now my second favorite after Sua is Chohyeon.

Looks like this is Se Eun

 

 

 

This says Hyeonju is a former MBK trainee, and that her and Byeol were backdancers for EXID and T-ARA. It also says Se Eun is supposed to be a good dancer.

Can't watch it live because of time zones and all but watched the entire show just now.

 

There's a lot to talk about but I'll try to be brief.

 

The global Afreeca vod worked well, don't know about how the live stream went but the vod works which is better than the korean Afreeca for me at least. Was a bit awkward partly because the girls were nervous, the format with using chat suggestions with a live audience and the mcs messing up a lil bit. But this is why you have this pre-debut showcase, so the girls can get used to it and become less nervous.

 

Ice Cream's intro reminded me of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and the chorus reminded me of Wham - Last Christmas. Feels kind of 80's like. Cute concepts are still not my thing so needless to say I like Good Life better and it was real good.

 

Yeeun has a lot of cuteness as the maknae but she pulls of the more mature concepts really well, her transformation for the dance performance was really great. She also seems to be really playful which is nice.

 

The girls did well. I wish someone would sub it in English so I could learn more than just Hyeonju is the leader and Yeeun is the maknae but we'll have to see if the nugu gods bless this fandom with it.

 

Btw in the global afreecatv chat not sure if it was a Y&H staff or Afreeca TV staff said that it should, emphasis on should, take 4 months for them to debut and that Ice Cream will be on their album.

 

I'll put my comments on the 8th member thing on spoiler.

 

 

The way they did the teaser it seemed like a deliberate choice to hide the 8th member, but in the video they revealed at the showcase it seemed the exact opposite. It was kind of a real forced edit to avoid showing the 8th girl, but at times you can see her face and hair. Going by the hair it kind of looks like Jungmin but it's hard to tell. Makes me think they had finalized the members with the 8th, then something happened and the 8th member left/was dropped and they did the teaser to make it look an abstract member. The fact that they really didn't acknowledge the 8th member after retweeting that news article is a bit strange. But anyway I'm probably just reading too much into stuff and should just wait until they debut.

Ice Cream was the first song that they performed. At the time the person running the channel was talking to chat in the global Afreeca side. I assume whoever it was got busy so they stopped. Good life was the last song at a point no staff was talking to chat so that's why they said Ice Cream was going to be on the album but nothing about Good Life. I think it's safe to assume it will be there.

A few things from the 2nd showcase. Keep in mind I don't speak Korean so these might be wrong.

They talked about Busan with Seeun and apparently she did Busan accent not sure if she was just mimicking it or if she is from Busan.

Hyeonju said something about Canada and did some flight attendant lines in English. She might have lived there a little.

Yeeun had a sketch book with drawings/paintings and it was quite good.

Chohyeon rode a bike from Seoul to Busan.

I hope this is the 8th member, she's such a good dancer!

She is confirmed the 8th member, the video description says so. It also lists her last after all the other members, which makes me wonder if she is the maknae now or if they just listed like that because she was introduced last. She doesn't look super young but this things are always tricky to guess.

 

Welcome Hyedam to Seeart. It's a shame she couldn't be part of the pre-debut showcases.

 

 

Also looks like they are making the fan meet earlier because of the cold and it will have a coffee shop theme(?)
