1. [+1,091, -17] Cha Seung Won... has failed as a parent. Only the future will tell but I don't think this will be erased from his image any time soon. It will be a difficult road for him from here on out.

2. [+994, -40] Cha Noa is an embarrassment to his father. I wonder how much of his father's money he threw at them to reach a settlement? Cha Seung Won seems like he only knows how to make money but not raise a son properly... He needs to beat the kid till his legs break. It's difficult to get rid of the habit of touching women like that.

3. [+699, -18] How frustrating to be Cha Seung Won right now..

4. [+520, -27] Teen idols are sitting around smoking marijuana... what will the kids learn? So were they singing on stage all this time after taking a round backstage together.........? -.-

5. [+337, -3] The greatest victim of all in this is actor Choi Daniel.... ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

6. [+209, -3] He really needs to change his name, I mix him up with actor Choi Daniel all the time

7. [+185, -2] Proves that money can't raise a child

8. [+101, -4] That Choi Daniel nugu... nobody would've known who he is if he didn't do drugs. Poor actor Choi Daniel having to be involved in this just because of that.

9. [+89, -2] Poor actor Choi Daniel... ã… ã…

10. [+55, -5] Idols these days are tough... sending a member to jail just to get their name out there.. Too bad they still won't gain popularity like that.

Just to establish something, netizens are actually blaming Cha Seung Won for something his 24 year old (25 in Korean age) son has done. :wut:

The guy is a grown ass man, it's no longer his parents responsibility to police his actions. When a child behaves badly it reflects badly on the parents, when an adult behaves badly it reflect badly solely on them. Cha Noah is no longer of an age where you get to blame his parents for his behaviour, he has the free will to be as stupid as he wants (and it seems he's taking full advantage of this 'freedom').

The sentence is so harsh compared to drunk drivers who only get a slap on wrist for putting others' lives at risk.

I hope DMTN can bounce back from yet another set-back.

Wasn't Cha Seung Won's son accused of raping someone recently?

See ya in a year Daniel... I hope DMTN still stays together    :horror:

I somehow doubt he'll be allowed back into DMTN at that point....

It is not really weird to not completely write off the fact that the guy was raised by parents and somehow still turned out this way, though.  He's 25, not 50.  Extended adolescence is a thing in the US and, also, I think in SK.  Besides, no one would care about the guy specifically if it weren't for his father.

I believe some of the comments are referring to that....
