Is the CD one a compliment? Cause don't some people use it to say that the vocals are live or something?

Saying that an idol "ate the CD" basically means that they sound exactly the same live as they do on their album.

When used towards IU or someone of similar talents it's probably meaning that they have really good live vocals.

But I think they're probably just saying that she's clearly lip-syncing when they say it about taetae  :chu:

idk about this. But in Taeyeon's case, they use it as compliment. Because they say her live singing is 100% perfect like it's almost similar to her Studio version.  :rlytearpls:
