Idols that are redefining the visual role

There are many "visuals" in Kpop such as Yoona, Seolhyun, Sehun, Krystal, Tzuyu, Suzy.

However recently the word "visual" in kpop has come to mean "lacking any substantial talent to play an actual role of a group so we'll call you that so you can have a function in the group".

There are some groups that have broken that Stereotype like red velvet's most popular visual, Irene. She is one of the best dancers in her group, has a nice voice and was only called the visual because she is actually the most visually appealing in the group.

Another visual that is also very talented is EXID's Hani. She has joined the ranks of Irene. She is the best dancer of her group and now she has also shown that she is a part of the vocal line..

Thank the Lord for Irene and Hani, redeeming the visual title.

Please pray for other visuals to follow suit...

Do you know anymore Idols that are redefining the visual role?

Hani was always part of the vocal line in Exid though, even pre-Bestie and at that time Haeryung was the visual.

Even though Jiae is the visual, Kei could be considered the face of Lovelyz and also one of the main vocals, Suzy is a good singer contrary to the stereotype, and L has improved vocally a lot since debut so maybe those

I'd like to introduce you to Oh My Girl's YooA, who is basically one of the best, if not the best dancer of OMG, and is also the third best singer of OMG after Seunghee & Hyojung.

Forgive me.. I also recently discovered this doll..I acknowledge her

Krystal aka Queen Girl Crush. When FX first debuted Sulli was the stated Visual, but then Krystal just started taking over.

The interesting thing about Irene is that she debuted at an older age and she's short.

What's the neg for? The majority of visuals debut young and tall.

but krytal is also talented, i mean i may be biased but krystal has a nice voice and she can dance, she could easily be a lead dancer in any other group

ikr, she is the face, the visual is junghwa

Tbh my eyes always go to either hani or solji..solji has a charm that pulls me in and her voice is awesome!

You're randomly calling ppl you like visuals. Sulli was FX visual, Hani is not EXID visual.

also Irene might be best dancer or whatever of RV but she's old (like 24) and not even pretty

You need to do something about your declining eyesight. It seems in a critical state.

Eh, I didn't know the term visual was being used in a derogatory way nowadays. (genuine statement) Anyways, I think there are lot of talented visuals (good dancers, good vocals etc) who are overlooked just for being visuals.
