Serious question

I've had this crush on a girl from my high school for more than 1 year.

At first we were friends and a few months ago I decided to ask her out and she didn't reply anything. I took that as a decline.

Now, the problem is I can't get her out of my head. Even now, I still have some feelings for her.

How can I forget her and move on?

I'm very much afraid there's no definite answer to that question.

I had a crush on a guy once, we had nice interactions online, and decided to meet IRL, as friends. We met, twice but he became super distant afterwards. I couldn't stop thinking about him, but clearly felt that he was distancing himself, so I was not pushing it. I went out with another guy for a few months, and even during that relationship, I sometimes would think about him, I eventually broke up with that guy, and that's when he came back to me, and we began talking again. I started to be very obvious about me being interested, again, and he distanced himself and vanished, again.

It was super hard to live for a few months, until he sent me a very long mail to apologize about his behavior, saying he knew I had feelings for him, but that he couldn't reciprocate them and was totally lost at how breaking that news to me.

Instantly after reading that email, I felt a huge sense of relief, and moved on quite easily.

So, yeah, tl;dr, it can take time, but every situation is different anyway.

Oh I was going through this a few months ago lol. I just went on the look out to look for cute girls LOL. I eventually got over it

Ok wait nvm I didn't read the part about being rejected. Idk what to do in that situation since I've never had that happen to me before. What I cam recommend is to eat some banh mi sandwhiches and listen to lovelyz's for you. It's a pretty healing song
