Do you act the same on the internet as you do in real life?

Like i know a girl in real life when i see her posts online i'm like "who dafuq is this person??"

in real life she's quiet, kind, conservative sweetest person, but online she's crazy, and can be downright nasty lol

As for me i think i'm more polite in real life on the internet your more likely to hear what's in my head xD

for instance

*person in real life says something retarded* me:" hmm i see, i don't agree sir"

*person says something retarded on the internet* me: your retarded

lol tbh I'm the opposite, which is weird. I feel like I try to be more polite on the internet than in person. Maybe that's just because I'm comfortable around the people I see in person, or maybe because I have more time to think about what I'm saying on the internet. Idk I like to think I'm fairly polite though.

I'm not sure what the difference is between my offline and online self since I think I'm pretty similar? But I think it's safe to say most people have spazzy moments online that they don't necessarily do in real life. Like I might say that I'm about to throw myself down a set of stairs online because Chanyeol's wearing glasses but in real life I'm lying down on my couch, holding my pillow, and browsing Twitter updates.

Otherwise I'm still pretty outspoken and handle myself the same online and off, even when disagreeing.

Not at all

I'm so shy irl, at least on the net I can feel more relaxed and openly talk about shit

And at home I'm the second most talkative, whereas online I try to be more reserved

So I think my online personality is the in-between version of the two sides of me

I'm the same, except in real life I'm shy and don't know how to make conversations with strangers, but on the internet I can talk to anyone because they don't stare into my face while I talk to them so I don't get shy.

I don't think who I appear to be online is an accurate representation of who I am, because it isn't everything there is to me. Especially not on this forum. I'm a little bit more myself on twitter but I still don't think it compares to actually interacting with someone in person.

I tend to be a really quiet/spaced out individual in real life. Quiet to the point where people get shocked when I do decide to speak. But when I'm around people that I'm comfortable with, I tend to be very silly (while still quiet). And I'm crazy blunt in real life. Online I tend to "talk" a lot more (that's the only difference)...
