I was a big THG fan though when the books came out I read them a bit. I was still into it a lot when the first 3 movies came out, I saw them right when they were released...but when the 4th came out I didn't see it until like 2 weeks ago? it came out a while ago didn't it? Anyways, The first 2 are good, Catching Fire is my favorite of the series, wasn't crazy about last 2. Seeing the last movie it made me think, why did I love this again? It was pretty basic. I hate how it deals with people murdering eachother, but it's all watered down for a PG-13 audience. I like violent films to actually have realistic and brutal violence, with lots of blood. Insurgent's book sucks so I don't really plan to watch the movie nor read the 3rd book (never and I was a fan at first). TMR: the books were ok, only watched the first movie which was ok too. Friends told me the second movie was completely different so I don't plan to watch it. yeah so it's ok. could live without those movies. The 2nd one is pretty good. But the 3rd book the writer of the book was weaker (character development , plot holes , lag of understanding of war,, unnecessary subplots ,...) and you can find the problem of it in the movie itself. But i was still ok. Maze Runner the first movie was ok , the 2nd one was garbage (80%filler) . Have only seen the first one ; Divergent, but that was as average as it gets . Haven't read any of the Div. series, but have seen the movies. They're alright. I need to rewatch TMR because I was half sleep watching it. I haven't seen TST. I believe the Hunger Games to be slightly better than the two other sagas, as well. But none of them deserve better than 6/10 in my opinion. yeokdae 3,324 Posted January 17, 2016 Share Posted January 17, 2016 the hunger games - ok insurgent - i saw this with my sister (i also saw thg movies with my sister. she's into that kind of stuff) it was an ok exciting movie, but i think the story is stupid maze runner - looks interesting, but i havent seen it and don't plan to. coward 1,968 Posted January 17, 2016 Share Posted January 17, 2016 battle royal was a million times better than huger games (I didn't watch all of the movies as I couldn't stand the female in the third book, she went from this strong female to a messy ass puddle who couldn't move on her own, wtf!?) I got halfway thru book two of insurgent and I can't see how it could be a movie that captivities non-teenage audiences. it asked me to suspend too much of my belief in the way humans work. not for me. maze runner never interested me. I didn't hear about it until the second movie, but from what I gathered, they got out of one mess just to go through the same mess in a different place. not sure if that's true, but that's my impression and I was not interested.
