I'm not religious, but I'd like to think that something happens after death, and that it's not just nothingness. Not just to yourself but also to your family.I've seen enough patients in the hospital I worked in suffered so much.Families tend to pay a large amount of cash for us to try to aid the patients. What's worse is seeing their relative crying all the time. Patients have it worst. They kept their hopes up but even we doctor knew that they are not gonna last long we are just easing their pain. Some patients kept assuring their relatives that they are just going to be fine and they are strong willed. But hours later, they would die. I hate the suffering that death brings. Thats why. The biblical descriptions of it, at least. I honestly think I'd prefer to live in Hell than Heaven, if I had to choose. But if the concept of Heaven is true, I'm hoping that it's just whatever you make it out to be and not all of us having to serve "God" for eternity. I would rather do serve God for all eternity than experience I gruesome burning sensation for all eternity.
