lol i think he actually loves being called pretty/beautiful/etc. He loves to be doted on  spoiled brat

i don't think he does actually. with his members, sure, but external to that, he always look awkward when people praise him for his looks. i mean, obviously being praised for good looks is better than being trashed for being ugly, but taem seems to have a complex around "being just a pretty boy", as in him being valued more for his looks than his singing/dancing. it's gotten better in recent years, but remember when shinee tried so hard to drill the message that taem is not a fairy and is human. 

 

that said, he seriously does look so much like an ethereal  fairy prince at times it's ridiculous

i agree that he worries about his talent not being acknowledged over his looks, but i think they are two separate things. He both likes to be praised for his looks and also worries about his talent not being acknowledged. but thats just my impression lol
