Prolly the company know whose the marketable one and promote him/her heavily? Aside from visuals 90% guaranteed of fame and its role to bring his/her group's advancement. Also just because each member in a group has a"Name" for themselves dose not mean anything when other members in the group are considerably way way way way more popular.... Like look at EXO, Xiumin for example. This dude is one the best dancers and his voice is good BUT some fans misunderstand him for being untalented! Cytherial 4,589 Posted October 16, 2013 Share Posted October 16, 2013 imo, i think 2NE1 is almost equally popular, CL = the public's idea for being the most popular Dara = the one who gets the most endorsements, which indicates the company's trust towards her influence/popularity., Bom = she is the member who is being talked about .. A LOT positive/negative and she has the best single chart performance out of the members and Minzy = the sleeping giant, XD she is the hidden talent of the group, which recently everyone has been noticing and which majority wants a piece of. if you think about it, they somewhat balance each others out. Then Hyunseung had Troublemaker and musical. Junhyung is now acting, producing and composing. Yoseob as his solo, musical, variety show. Doojoon has acting and MCing. Kikwang has acting and MCing. Dongwoon is visual, he has musicals, and is finishing University next year, hopefully his activities increase. Yoseob , Kikwang and Doojoon are still the only members that appear on variety shows, Hyunseung and Junhyung are awkward so they chose not to. Dongwoon is more comfortable on variety shows know. The more unpopular members are always the ones who aren't as handsome/pretty as their group mates. Groups where everyone is relatively attractive have a more balanced outcome.
