It'd be really hard to sell them to my kpop friends but i'd show them this person first i think they'd be able to appreciate his heavenly good looks. edit: going back to why it'd be hard. idk some Johnny's groups remind me of early kpop days (with the styling and everything) and it seems kpop went past that. If the person got into kpop through the likes of EXO or BTS or BIGBANG then i wouldn't even introduce them to Johnny's. Pay attention I'd play two songs (for the guys): Asterisk - Arashi OR Intergalactic - Arashi [songs that they'd expect from Japanese pop artistes that have a different flair but are so cool they just have to love it.] Full of Love - Arashi [songs that they don't expect from a Japanese pop artist. Pretty modern and laid back] For the girls: Truth - Arashi OR Sakura - Arashi [great melodies] Candy My Love -Kanjani 8 (for the girls who are more playful in nature) Also for those who are more visual in nature, there are always appropriate, well styled and well glammed up pictures of any Johnnys guy you can show them.Take for instance Ohno Satoshi. The average jpop fan would say he's one of the more average if not THE most average looking member in Arashi and Johnnys period...but you can opt to show a more "pretty" pic of him vs one where he looks "regular"... Like so... "AVERAGE" "PRETTY" LOL!!! As much as this worked with my friends who were more kpop oriented...you really have to just judge whether the person you want to show, will take to it. But they are thou... I always think they are not good looking at all but they have good charm. Kis-my-ft2 are really ugly though. There are other flower boys in other groups but not everyone's cup of tea. Their style is horrible ( JE trademark) , outdated and their songs are all similar to each other. The new patch of idols are awful at acting. The older generation is more attractive but their music ain't anything special. Even as a Jpop fan I can't stan JE artists. Of course, there are differences between JE and usual Kpop groups, but if you enjoy it for what it is, and not compare thats usually better. Personally, I like JE groups because they have catchy songs and they seriously look like they're having fun when performing. I prefer that its kinda carefree. As for looks, thats subjective. At least they don't seem to all be the typical flower boy pretty guys, which makes them more unique in my opinion.
