Onew is absolutely the best leader for SHINee. Since all members possess such strong personalities, and having matured and gained so much confidence, they perhaps require support rather than discipline, which Onew has an abundance of. It feels like every member of SHINee has been opening up a lot since 2013, becoming more natural in their actions and interactions, and if possible, their genuine affections for each other have increased manifold. Onew's leadership style has allowed that to happen.
