A summary of UNIQ's activities for 2015

I'm wondering about uniq's Achievements in 2015 , can you tell me some of it?

 

Hello sweetie! In the beginning of 2015 the boys got Tencent Beijing App awards as most promising group!!! And later around February UNIQ started to work on their comeback, Yuehua moved into new and really HUGE and modern building with humongous practice room, in March UNIQ had a very successful fanmeeting in Thailand, then later abomb comeback with EOEO which was a success and they gained a lot of attention from Korean fans.

 

During their promotion in Korea they were nominated for winner at The Show along with Dalshabet and Bangtan and got 2nd place (lost to BTS but still gave Armys a hard time hehe which is a big success imo cuz Army is a very strong and big fandom!). In China they had a comeback with Listen To Me as main song same time as EOEO and they got award at KU Music Awards “Best New Artist†same day!! As well they got selected as The Show China Choice on May 26!!

 

Then they had a series of fansigns in Korea and China which were always a lottery style and always fully filled. They also had 2 successful tightly packed showcases in Japan. Our boys were also nominated on MTV EMA as Best Artist in Mainland China & Hong Kong!!!!!! ;A; Got eliminated after the second round where they stood against biggest and popular artists *_*

 

In Autumn our boys celebrated their 1 year anniversary and had a series of 4 showcases in Japan!!! And as well a showcase in Beijing. They supposed to have a showcase in Shanghai as well but that was canceled due to some misundersanding between Yuehua and organizers. They were nominated on IKMA awards recently (best rookie and best choreo), on which they took Best Choreography award for EOEO~ They also received award on iQIYI Awards^^ ALSO ANOTHER SOUNDTRACK! They grabbed Sponge Bob Square Pants 3D soundtrack hehe

 

As well during the year the boys had a lot of opportunities for individual promotions; first of all Yibo got big roles in TWO!!! movies such as “Business School Partner†and later in “Chinese Odyssey†as the Red Boy. Seungyoun and Yixuan joined him in “Chinese Odyssey†in smaller roles. Yixuan later got his role in web drama “Female Presidentâ€.

 

Sungjoo was a permanent guest on Chinese TV show Let’s Go! and as well participated in various shootings in Thailand and even guested on Korean TV show “We Are Going To Schoolâ€. Wenhan was a swimming star on Korean TV show called “Cool Kiz on the blockâ€.

 

Seungyoun along with his friends Jimin from 15& and Nathan have a group called MOLA and they compose and release some tracks together. Seungyoun was also a main character in Jimin’s music video. Yibo and Yixuan are also casted as possible Day Day UP new MC on the “survival†sort of show! WISH THEM LUCK.


This is definitely not all, but most of their achievements of 2015!! They were soooo active it is a bit hard to remember everything they succeed in~

 

For 2016 I wish UNIQ to unlock more countries for foreign performances or even more continents!!! Get a full album comeback and win their first Korean win!! ;3

  • Had their special Autumn Day Sports Event with their Korean fans
  • Guested in After School Club and 
  • Everyone guested on the Friday Show (Sungjoo first, followed by Yibo and Seungyoun, and then Yixuan and Wenhan)
  • Shot CFs for Dr. Bear, X-Step, and others
  • Shot a 2-part program for 
    , 
    , and their second KBS Stardust Appearance! 
  • Had a whirlwind of interviews found here, 
    , 
    , and here, including the now legendary 
    hehehe.
  • Participated in the NetEase Music Battle in China with 4Minute, Got7 and others where SeungYoun sang Sungjoo's parts
  • Appeared in several magazines, including Riveriver and FHM China
  • Uploaded more UNIQ Life episodes
  • Released their BEST FRIEND single, which they composed themselves <<<<< HOW CAN I FORGET THIS??
  • Released a New Year single with WJSN
  • Oh Gosh I will add more when I have the time!!!   :rlytearpls:

UNIQ opened 2016 with a bang by

 

Winning the Best Choreography Award for the IKMA Awards

Opening their own V App Channel! and

Reaching 1M followers in Weibo Whooohooo!! 

 

Now Yuehua, we need a Korean Comeback please!!!!

Yes, it was an anniversary single that they composed themselves. It was released but not promoted in music shows (too bad tho)
