Antis don't know how else to explain the group's popularity so they attack their lack of talent and/or credit their popularity to some other factor. Twice iKon SNSD 2. Hate for having too many visuals. Groups get hate for being too good looking at times, then antis are worried for their faves. They disguise their hate by finding something the group is lacking in to make it seem logical. Twice Exo Seventeen SNSD Red Velvet 3. Hate for not having visuals. When a group that is able to somehow be popular without having visuals, antis don't know how to expalin them being better than their visually superior faves so they attack the groups visuals because there is nothing else to say. Gfriend iKon 2NE1 4. Hate for being too popular. It is hard for antis to accept when another group is threatening their faves popularity. Due to this insecurity, they blame their success on methods such as sajaeji or "the tickets were free so it doesn't count" Sistar BTS iKon Exo 5. Hate for being in a big 3 company. Antis try to credit their success to their company to make their less talented faves seem better. The popular YG, SM, JYP groups: Big Bang, iKon, Exo, SNSD, Red Velvet, Twice, Got7 6. Hate for mediaplay. This usually applies to one member of a group that shoots to popularity very quickly after being relatively nugu before then. Antis try to hate on the sudden rise in articles and media attention the person gets by disregarding any talent they may have and crying "mediaplay" This can also happen with groups that become popular too quickly. Antis will find some trivial thing to attribute it to. Hani Seolhyun Tzuyu OMG Gfriend 7. Hate for no reason at all. Sometimes there's a group you don't like but you don't know or can't explain why you don't like them. This is the most fun type because you can blame your hate on anything you want. But full on hating them because of any of what you stated above is just plain rude, disrespectful, and just plain old mean. I know this isn't your opinion but based on the hate you witnessed these group got. I'll never understand why people hate.. If I personally don't like a group... I just become indifferent towards them. Hate and love is seperated by a fine thin line since both are very strong emotions... Which is why I am always confused at the effort haters put ttowards some of these groups. My main one is hate because they're in the big 3...
