Yes, if I was attracted to them and the chemistry was there, we got along well enough, etc. Not being "fluent" doesn't mean we can't still communicate or get by. Plus it would be fun and interesting to try and learn their native tongue so we could communicate in multiple ways.

Hmm, that would be a big negative for me. I would like someone from my own country, who spoke Spanish (even if she speaks other languages as well). I want us to be from the same culture because I think that would make us closer, in a way:)

My ex-boyfriend of three years was Egyptian, and could not say three words in French to save his life.

That been said, we're both fluent in English, so that was our main language while communicating with each other.

 

But yeah, I would and I already did.

Besides, learning a new language is never a bad thing in my book, especially not for love.
