TrueColors 582
So I'm planning on going to see EXO in February for their North American tour and would like to get front row or close to the front spot in the pit. What time should I arrive to the venue? The concert starts at 6:30 pm. The thing I'm most worried about is waiting out in the cold.

Misotoria 170
Hey Im going to the one in LA but how come the tickets are not on sale yet? oh and to answer your questions I usually go to the venue at least an hour before it starts
damnjunho 84
tbh i went to a 2pm concert and waited outside for like, half a day, and there were still a few people before me. (although i did end up getting a really good seat in the pit). it was stupid and cold af but i was with friends so it was okay. if it's exo, i feel like the line would be even longer, so you should go more than an hour ahead? but that's up to you! peachygirl 5,018
Probably an hour and a half before pretty sure OP would be right at the back of the line if they did that get in line around 10 am if you want to be near the front, although i'm sure there will be people already waiting there. Kaity 5,777
to get to the front? lmao people are gonna overnight it, mark my words. you wont be in front if you arrive only an hour before doors open.

oppaarrr 4,601
Idk how it is in the US but during TLP in my country, some people slept on the street in front of the venue so they could make sure they're on the front row...

A Hamster Named Loneliness 3,680
Are American fans as crazy as Koreans? People were overnighting it for KCON when I went two years ago, they're going to overnight it for EXO for sure. In fact, it's pretty much like this for any concert if you want to get a good spot in pit.

MatchaG 222
my friend went to BTS's U.S. tour, and she had to wait for 10 hours in order to be in the front. so no doubt it'll be the same for exo.
pastelcake 10,112
in depends on the country but even in korea they que a night before. KingSoshi 2,315
the thing is, I would probably handle this like any concert that you've been to before in the US, and it is most likely that if your in the GA, and want to be at the front you'll have to be there at least 8 hours before the concert. There is a chance there could be floor seating instead though, and in that case you'd just have to make sure you have good internet, and are prepared before the tickets go on sale (logged in, etc.) to score the best seats. potato888 620
Soompi recently published a series of very informative articles about the kpop concert experience in Korea vs. the US, including general similarities and differences (pt. 1), ticketing (pt. 2), and concert day logistics (pt. 3). In part 3, one of the authors discussed her experience going to a VIXX concert in LA, including how long she had to stand in line to get a good standing spot in the pit. Hope these articles help you. Good luck. http://www.soompi.com/2015/11/23/soompi-says-korean-vs-american-k-pop-concerts/ http://www.soompi.com/2015/11/26/soompi-says-american-vs-korean-k-pop-concerts-pt-2/ http://www.soompi.com/2015/11/29/soompi-says-korean-vs-american-k-pop-concerts-pt-3/
