Lyrically, Epik High is still untouchable to me and i don't get how people expect them to have the same style forever when Tablo gave a lot of reasons as to why the style is brighter now. Epik High is ultimately at that point in their career where they mainly want to stay in the mainstream. Hence YG. I highly doubt they would have used B.I., Mino and Bobby if they weren't in YG. Ultimately it's their decision, and while I think their older work is much stronger, Shoebox is still an improvement compared to 99. As for Beenzino, I think your comparison is correct. He'd have to be delusional if he really thinks his looks/background haven't contributed to his appeal. But he's still very talented (his flow is really great imo), although he's so much stronger when he's in Jazzyfact. I feel like before he joined Illionaire he was a better fit in Amoeba for example, but now he's become Illionairized if that makes any sense. As long as he doesn't go bad like The Q, it's fine.
