Kim Seolhyun 7,303 Posted January 7, 2016 Share Posted January 7, 2016 I have noticed that whenever the topic of f(x) not having a fandom name comes up, some people rush in to say that it is a part of their "unique concept." In my eyes, this looks like mere sugarcoating of the fact that f(x) is undoubtedly an ignored group by SM. There is no logical reason for f(x) to lack a fandom name because in the end all it causes is mere confusion and unrest in f(x) fans. And if it WAS part of their concept, wouldn't it be clarified? I didn't care about the fandom name anyway and liked being nameless because it's unique. Just unique not having a name. A bit rebellious or something like that. I would love to finally get a fanclub name but I kind of got used to not having one at this point. I don't view it as something unique, though. Red Velvet don't have one either, right? It makes sense since Red Velvet is only on their second year since debut, so they have plenty of time to get one. While there's f(x) who debuted in 2009, making it five years before Red Velvet, yet SM didn't bother to give them the fandom name until now. If SM don't want to give them a fandom name, they aren't going to, and they know more about this than you.
