anh. 5,127 Posted October 14, 2013 Share Posted October 14, 2013 it has to be under 50 KB, so you would have to delete off frames for it to work. the ideal amount of frames i would have for a gif dp are 12 or less for color gifs (and maybe a little more for b&w gifs) when you click on "save for web and devices" to save your dp, you can choose to resize your dp to make it smaller, or choose to manipulate how many colors is in that gif. there will a be scroll menu with the color options of 2; 4; 16; 32; 64; 128; and 256. gifs with 256 colors has the best quality, but they are usually very big. the lowest setting i would recommend is 32 for color gifs, even though it'd get pixelly by then. for b&w gifs, you can go lower to 16 also i prefer to keep my dp as a square or something close to that Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
