Would you watch a movie retelling real-life mass shootings?

yes but only if it was completely fictional and not based on a true story.

i like psychological thriller type movies and horror flicks but i dont want to watch a documentary style movie about real kids who got murdered

Elephant is purely fictional

I'm talking about a movie based on a true story

Polytechnique is based on the MTL polytechnique massacre

He said he was fighting feminism because women were taking the jobs of men

He split up men from women inside a classroom and killed 14 women, injured 10 others and injured 4 men before killing himself

I'd be able to watch a movie retelling pretty much every shooting EXCEPT Sandy Hook

I think I'd probably cry and puke the entire time

I watched "Bowling for Columbine"... it was pretty thought-provoking.

Yeah but it's documentary-type. Polytechnique wasn't.

Yes, I would and I would honestly find it very interesting. Though don't misunderstand, whether it's a shooting, serial killer, rapist, whatever - any criminal act, I find it horrible and disgusting and it deeply affects me (I feel sad both for the victims and their families. I tend to put myself into others shoes in these situations so I somewhat relive the events as if they were personal), but that doesn't mean I don't find it interesting. How did it even happen? what drove people to do so? There's also usually tons of conspiracy theories and etc floating around these kind of events which is why I'd enjoy any type of film or just a video based around it. Though if they showed real footage, I'd probably feel really nauseous.

Yes. I love reading about them, I remember reading through the diaries of Eric Harris and Dylan Kleboid and being fascinated by what goes on in their minds - although the diary entries did indicate that they were intelligent their thought process was still simplistic and underdeveloped.

I would be interested to watch a movie about a school shooting - just to see what entails.

Sent from the fiery, sulphurous depths of hell.

I read about kidnappings/shootings/serial murders a lot. I think it's interesting to see documentaries or movies based off these events bc these stories are really interesting. I've watched movies like Hotel Rwanda, but I usually only watch documentaries, bc I'm weak and I empathize with the people on the screen too much.
