I have to tell you something, I have lots of baekhyun stans as friends on twitter, and many of them dislike chanbaek. They mostly dislike chanyeol because baekhyun always look like he isn't comfortable around him( he makes him uncomfortable), and I have to agree with that. Tbh, I kinda lost my chanbaek feels these days...Yeol seems...I dunno...trying too hard? Not only with Baek, but with everyone and the latest is Kyungsoo...but Soo seems to cooperate with him that's why they have many moments. I mean they are really good friends no doubt, but Baekhyun really dislike skinship. Honestly I also think that MAMA era baekyeol was just for fan service but they both wanted it so it's okay, but now...Baek seems like he doesn't want it anymore. Like you said, Baek avoids Chanyeol or just plain ignore him most of the time and I kinda feel bad for Yeol sometimes lol. Did u know during Shanghai showcase, before they sit together, Baek chose to sit one chair ahead from Yeol then Yeol moved to sit at the vacant sit beside Baek before this lovey dovey moment happened? 

Me too, not just on twitter. I'm actually one of the few people I know/have contact with that likes Chanbaek. Most hate the pairing and how Chanyeol seem to use Baek (in their eyes) to get more of the limelight. Also a lot of people dislike the fact how B gets called 'wife'; 'Channies women' ect. Personally I'm not a fan of those terms either, but that has more to do with a small portion of fans going to far with it.

 

The whole dating 'scandal' (still stupid that people call it that) though, brought my friends a huge amount of joy. Luckily for me, I only ever shipped Baekhyun and Yeol as good friends, otherwise I'm sure I wouldn't have heard the end of how wrong I was by them lol.

 

Chanbaek is the first duo I ever shipped, 'cause they seem to enjoy each others company and their personality fit well together. While they aren't my number one Brotp anymore, I still like them alot. Lately they intteract more with eachother and that makes me extremely happy, especially since Baek is going through a hard time, so having friends during such moments is important.
