Why do people scream at concerts?

I've watch a lot of live performances and I find it hard to watch when fans just literally screams. They aren't chanting or giving encouragement. They are literally just screaming like they are being murdered. If i was ever at a concert and I can't hear because of someone screaming I will personally punch them in the throat. Do you guys have a problem with this or it's just me?

Well.. From my experience it is usually the younger fans.. Idk about Kpop though.. maybe they get too excited?? My friend cried meeting someone from a band she liked before so yea..

Also you wont be able to hear in a concert regardless because of how loud the backtrack is.

gurl if I ever saw my bias group the last thing I would be worried about is making someone annoyed because of my screaming. You go to a concert you sign yourself up for a bunch of girls screaming like the world is on fire. Plus what would be the fun in just sitting around watching your bias group perform.

Releasing their bottled up feelings? Personally.. I think I'll end up laughing like I did when I went for a ride at the funfair. Some were screaming at the heights but I was just laughing <_<

It's that really high level of excitement, it happens. My gripe, on the other hand, is those damn people singing along loudly to the whole damn song during a ballad/slow song and drowning out the artist's voice like bish I am here to listen to them instead of your tone-deaf ass.

I'm a guy and when I went to my first Justin Bieber concert few months, I ago I literally screamed when I saw him.

I was so close to him. I think it just feels unreal that they are in front of you.

I regret nothing

SENSATION!

People do scream mostly because of the sensation that comes from your adrenaline. But whether it's positive or negative sensation depends on how you take a look for something. If you see ghosts, (many of) you will scream because you experienced kinda negative sensation. Same goes for a concert, but this one is a positive.

Imagine, you're standing in front of your most favourite idols, they singing the songs that really familiar to you, and in addition the crowds also the situations giving the 'hype' that makes your adrenaline screwing up inside and what you gonna do then?

Just stand and shut the hell up?

C'mon. It's scream baby. You will screaming because that joy feeling and excitement you got from that. Even if you don't have any ideas with what's going on with you the moment after. We called it 'reflex'.

Got it? :stud:

Overwhelming excitement and not knowing what better way to express it in a way that will translate to the performer.

Letting out the energy and excitement you get while being there and hearing the songs you love live. I can't imagine people jumping around in excitement without screaming lol that would just be weird. screaming just comes with the territory. It's also giving the artist feedback that you're enjoying being there.
