Guest Posted January 3, 2016 Share Posted January 3, 2016 I had this when I was like 12 because I wasn't giving my vagina proper ventilation, and it's pretty moist down there and warm too so that gave the bacteria that naturally there a chance to grow and multiple rapidly.. It was so swollen, and it hurt like hell to sit and sleep. On top of THAT I got a fever. It was HELL. Anyways, you need to take some antibiotics - the doctor will probably prescribe some for you and you may be given the option of either having tablets that you insert into your vagina or tablets that consume orally. Also to prevent yourself from getting a yest infection again make sure that vagina is dry, you can do this by patting yourself dry with a towel. Also avoid tight underwear.
