people in korea look down on smokers A LOT so even if he does smoke he obviously won't say it

Honestly, I have no idea (is it because of the specific period of the drama but even then taking one look at him is enough, it's only perception that matters)

 

I didn't quiet get the rest of the questions either but I think it would make sense to see the similarities and differences between the actor and the character.

Na, I totally agree. But he did literally almost cry in the bts cut of that Reply scene where his freinds tell him to curse. It also goes along with the overall impression all co stars have of him. At least those are the personality traits he puts forward publicly and within his work environment, you never know tbh.
