What is life like for beautiful people?

We all know beautiful people are regarded as more healthy, good, successful, friendlier etc. They also have more opportunities to advance in life by getting married to someone rich, getting a high-paying job, making connections with other people etc.

I noticed how people are friendlier to me since I improved my looks from ugly to average.

So, if you were ugly before and beautiful now, or vice versa, after you had done PS, stopped being fat, got a better sense of style, or just grew up into a good looking person, share your experience.

I'm really curious, and I hope there is someone who can answer.

People like you is why society just feels bad in general

I think people were nicer to you, because you thought when you'd become beautiful, you'd have better self esteem

Because of that, people would want to talk of you, because of your personality has jumped out of its shell

Not because of how your face looks better

Listen to my words, people

Don't let this follower degrade you

You don't have to be pretty

Just confident

It's hard

But find what you're into

Stick to it

And have a main goal in life

No, not to look good

But to BE GREAT

If I was better looking, I would become a commercial model.

For physically beautiful people, they have more people chasing after them. And they are seen as the people with good genes. Some even get worshipped on. I worship them.

EDIT: I remembered my dad telling me that unattractive and fat people aren't beautiful. My mom told me a few times that I'm not as pretty as my best friends. I feel horrible when I heard them say that. When I have enough money, I want to fly to South Korea and get plastic surgery.

People who get plastic surgery have nothing to be ashamed of. Society idolizes outer beauty. How many plain looking girls stay home dateless every weekend even though they have great personalities? You think anyone gives a shit about them? Of course not. They're just playing on society's own shallowness.

At the end of the day probably every bit of media you see tries to make people more attractive through everything from airbrushing/photo-shopping to industry makeup artists and their tricks. So people go for the permanent solution to keep looking like that which is plastic surgery. Its just the ability to live up to the expectations set by society. If people really want and can afford surgery, then its their choice since its their body!

The weird thing is that being pretty in school or work with the right sassy attitude can get you almost anything you want. If you're pretty you'll gain more respect than a normal person would usually get. It's unfair IMO, but that's just our nature. Beautiful people are usually the most trusted & well treated. That seems shallow but it's human nature I guess.

Not everybody's born with a pretty face. They say looks doesn't matter, WELL THEY ARE LYING, because looks DOES matter, at least for the first fifteen second of you meeting someone. Imagine you are them, waking up every morning and looking at the mirror BUT NOT LIKING WHAT YOU SEE. That feeling MUST REALLY SUCK. So what's wrong with changing their face? NOTHING. They want to like the image they see in the mirror, so let them. They just want to be beautiful.

but beauty is subjective, so technically all of us are considered "beautiful"

*deep*

well that's true, but sadly not everybody thinks that

i didn't really have problems with my self-esteem tbh

achieving something great with effort and preservance is quite nice, but the pretty ones have it easier

after you had done PS,

Sorry, I ain't rich like kim kardashian.

Plus I'm pretty sure beautiful or not life feels like same for everyone.

I'm honestly getting sick of people talking about beautiful people everywhere everytime; sweet lord, they aren't the only relevant people in this earth you know. Being ugly isn't a crime.

Your physical appearance does not determine your future nor your love life. It doesn't determine the number of friends you have.

Perhaps what some people consider beautiful, others do not. No object idea or person is beautiful to everybody.

idk

I'm pretty ugly on the inside and outside

What does it feel like to be beautiful :omg:

All you have to do is walk to the other side of the board

You can do it as long as you keep true to yourself and don't stray away from the path.

Let's talk

Welcome to the philosopher's office

What problems did you have?

How exactly do 'pretty ones' have it easier?

Explain.

I will say one thing, though: 'pretty ones' do have it easier, but only in communities full of brainwashed consumers of products and the media: aka TEENS

However, in a world of open-minded, mature adults, such qualities don't even occur to a person

You can not rely on beauty to really get you far in life

Sure, you can model and whatnot

But is that the accomplishment you've longed for?

but now that you are mentioning it, it would also be nice to be filthy rich

It's the same. I still pay taxes.
