Chrome 3,157 Posted May 18, 2013 Share Posted May 18, 2013 What are some artists/groups that truly make you feel something in their craft They don't necessarily have to be life changing, but an artist/group that moves you in the way of their music or them as people? For me its Tablo I didn't think I'd ever feel such a strong connection with a rapper all the way from Korea Some of his lyrics, his songs with Epik High have legitimately left me speechless and at a loss for words The way he uses and natures lyrics is so beautiful and the sounds he creates mesmerize me Not to mention he's one of the most versatile rappers in K-Hip hop, and his adaptability is uncanny I was a big fan of Tablo since I found Korean Music but it wasn't until 2011 when he released Fever's End when I sat back and realised what I had just listened to and what he had just taught me through his lyrical expressions To this day, Fever's End sits at my all time favourite album of any language and of any genre Who inspires you or who do you have a deeply rooted admiration for? TiramiQ 16,446 Posted May 18, 2013 Share Posted May 18, 2013 Super Junior they debuted as a rotational group of left over trainees that were supposed to disband and go their own way after a couple of months. they were not supposed to succeed and they were looked down by most people, their own agency included, but they worked their asses off and kept rising and moving forward until they reached the top, proving many that were expecting them to fail wrong. one of the reasons they are my eternal bias is that they inspire me alot and they keep reminding me all the time that hard work and determination pay off at the end. Not to mention that people keep making fun saying that they're gunna disband soon coz of how the members are going into military...they're still standing strong... oh and Shinhwa...the fact they struck straight thru all these years... the messages behind some non title songs...and the fact that no matter what, they put friendship first really makes me stand by them.. Sohyang - the woman had ovarian cancer and managed to pull through it, now she is slaying with those amazing vocals. Mariah Carey (I just had to mention her <3). I find TVXQ's story inspiring as well, fighting against the system despite low odds VS staying loyal to those who brought you where you are. Im very drawn to him particularly bcause he has experienced major difficulties yet he remains such a good person and role model to his fans and younger idols.
