Internationally underrated solo rookie (?)

Yesterday i was on the plane from Korea and bored me had nothing to do, do i roamed around in the audio and found that there was a section for Kpop and clicked on it and found Ga In's Hawwah, Shinee's Odd eye, Sistar's Shake it, SNSD's Lion heart, SUJU's Devil, K.will's RE: the full albums of all  and lastly, someone i never heard of, Park Si Hwan. I was curious so i clicked on the album "Rainbow taste" and title track "Dessert" played, and i was so into it.

 

 

After listening to it i remembered it was being played everywhere in Korea, so when i got home i checked the views and it was at 298,500 views and then thought to myself that this couldn't have been played in every shop with such low views, so i wonder how??

 

I also really liked "Cold lies" featuring Illinit i suggest listening to both these songs because they're so good and i'm hoping he gets more international recognition.

i was just wondering, what do you guys think of him and his singing? Does he deserve more recognition than he gets or is he just better off with fans in Korea?

He was the top 2 in Superstar K. He was the underdog of the top3 and many believe his story and the fact Superstar K favors males got him the Top2 spot ove Top3. The Top3 was Song Heejin (and she almost weekly scored higher judge points). But yes – he was very enjoyable to listen to.

Me too, but international fans just pain attention to who is in 1st on music shows lmao

But i think he just promoted in a few music shows, was not like Roy Kim, Jung Joong Young or John Park that were everywhere in others shows.

Do you remember that EXO vs B.A.P on MAMA and Busker Busker took the price lmao nobody knew about them but they were everywhere on Korea streets too.

true, i really think we should pay attention more because i never knew there are such talented people after the first and seconds

 

Also it was a really sad moment when no one knew him.. ;-;

 

He would definitely be recognised more after another hit, but he would have to really work hard since the label he is under is well.. a no one.. i also think dessert is really good, i wonder how he didn't become and international hit because of it
