It is currently the second highest-grossing film in the history of Korean cinema, winner of korean and also international film awards, opened the Berlinale and closed the Osaka Film Festival and was shown worldwide in over 15 countries including a special screening at the U.S. Senate in Washington. 2. Veteran (13,413,986) Veteran (ë² í…Œëž‘) is about Seo Do-cheol, a tough and merciless detective. While investigating a high-profile case, Seo finds out that arrogant young millionaire Jo Tae-oh is pulling some strings behind the scenes. However, no matter how rigorously Seo's team pursues him, Jo always escapes with the help of his wealth and connections. Assassination (12,704,656) Assassination (암살) is a 2015 South Korean espionage action film set in the 1930s, while Korea is occupied by the Japanese Army. The resistance plans to kill the Japanese Commander. But their plan is threatened by a traitor within their group and also the enemies' forces are hunting them down. For her role in the movie, Jun Ji-hyun won as the best actress at the 52nd Grand Bell Awards. 4.
