[NEWS] VIXX’s Ken Is Up Next For Yoon Jong Shin’s Monthly Music Project

Boy group VIXX’s vocalist Ken is set to participate in singer-songwriter Yoon Jong Shin’s monthly music project.

 

On May 24, Mystic Entertainment dropped a teaser for the upcoming May release featuring vocals by Ken. The teaser photo shows Ken soaking up the spring sun, looking calm and relaxed with his eyes gently closed.

 

The main vocalist of VIXX, Ken is widely recognized for his stellar vocals. He has recently gained attention for his impressive performances on “Duet Song Festival.â€

 

Previous singles released under Yoon Jong Shin’s monthly project have featured SEVENTEEN’s vocal unit and Epik High’s Tablo, among others.

 

Stay tuned for the release of Ken and Yoon Jong Shin’s collaboration track later this month!

Q1. It became a topic for the whopping 4 hours running time, how did it feel to complete the third fanmeeting <VIXXCHOOL>? (Did it feel like it was 4 hours)
This fanmeeting was so fun that it didn’t even feel like 4 hours~ Maybe it was because we haven’t seen our fans for a long time but I wanted to stay for a long time~ Our Byul made another good memory for us! Thank you for making it such a fun time~

Q2. Now that it’s over, what’s the most memorable part?
I think of when we talked about the concert and album at the end and the babies screams… It was such a thankful moment that gave me goosebumps.

Q3. In the Starlight skits Ravi won 1st place with Starlights’ overwhelming roar. You didn’t win but do you acknowledge Ravi’s win?
ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I acknowledge it. Lately Ravi’s acting is at its primeㅋㅋㅋ It was expected~

Q4. While preparing for your solo stage was there a part you emphasized on or were there any episodes?
I wanted to make the people coming to our fanmeeting happy~ As long as I could make a big impact but also make them laughã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ I thought it was okay to ruin myself~ I wanted to give strength to Starlights who were tired and to make happy Starlights even happierã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ Anyway I just wanted to make them happy~

Q5. Which members’ solo stage was the most impressionable besides yours?
Ravi’s stage was especially memorable~ Even though I made a special appearance ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹  It seemed like Ravi showed a lot of different sides of him at this fanmeeting~ One of them being his vocals~ Ravi’s solo stage ‘Bloom’ was impressionable. Still fresh in my head~

Q6. You performed your debut song 'SUPER HERO’ in front of Starlights after a long time. What was it like to sing it even with the stage outfits?
It was pretty embarrassing but I also did it with overflowing confidence in my facial expressionsã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ It seemed like our fans and us too were thinking about the past while singing it so I was very happy~~><

Q7. In response to Starlights’ slogan event, you personally responded with 'Starlights, so lovely’ slogans. What moment were Starlights most lovely?
Being with our babies, every moment is lovely and every time we see them it’s new~ Every moment spent with us is lovely~ Our babies I love you~~~~

Q8. On the language proficiency test you got an F. Do you acknowledge this F? Your mom came to the fanmeeting, did you get scolded by her because of your bad grades?
I received an F on the proficiency test but I really felt displeased! Because ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It’s the truth ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ My mom didn’t scold me but she was worried ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
