Hello! I've been meaning to post in this thread before I even registered as a user here. 

 

I first saw Doojoon in the Running Man episode 162 and I was quite intrigued by him. He just gives off this cool and charismatic aura and I just knew I had to know more about him! 

 

When it comes to singing and dancing, he's competent but not outstanding. But when it comes to acting, wow I fell in love with him even deeper than before (which I didn't know it was even possible  )

In Let's Eat, he's just so naturally charming and cool as DaeYoung. I had never been so interested in a KDrama before though at ep 7, I almost wanted to quit. Let's Eat was enjoyable from start to finish and I can't just stop admiring Doojoon   He had wonderful chemistry with the main heroine and the younger girl. But I wasn't a fan of Season 2 cos of the annoying new heroine 

 

Then he delivered another amazing role in Splash Splash Love! I watched for him but the whole entire mini-series were so wonderfully executed and had great acting and chemistry all around. It's great to see him in a favourable and successful drama again! I just love re-watching the last 12 minutes of Ep 2, and this scene just gives me the shivers and automatic grin on my face.

I really can't wait for more of his acting in the future. I hope he continues to act because he's extremely good at delivering his parts.

@Shiny, Perla & Teddy: Hi! Thanks for the warm welcome!   Nice to meet you, fellow Doo Doo fans!   Hehe well I plan to fangirl a lot here   Doojoon has this masculine and mature yet youthful aura that's quite uncommon among male idols.

 

You guys shld definitely watch the dramas I have mentioned! I know Kdrama episodes have very long duration but since the shows are mostly cheerful in tone, they are definitely not going to be tiresome to watch!  Besides, both shows have great storylines and Let's Eat is mainly food porn and who wouldn't want to see Doojoon's satisfied look when eating. 

 

Anyway, my most favourite hairstyle of Doojoon is during the 12:30 era - the birds' nest and the blonde one!

I just want to express my sadness that Doojoon may most likely not be acting in any dramas in the near future because he's worried that his individual drama activities would compromise his group activities. What a caring leader nevertheless but I miss his acting...

Brunette/Blonde(?) Doojoon makes me weak 

I think it's smart of Doojoon to not dye his hair any colour besides brunette cos I don't think he looks nice with platinum blonde/red/purple, bright colours in general lol

I was watching some live performances of Shadow yesterday and found one that I haven't seen before

 

 

 

Doojoon looks so hot in this perf. His leather jacket, his hair, his face - it's all perfect! 

 

Shadow is my favourite B2ST song partly cos Doojoon has a lot of lines in it which is pretty rare. 

 

I really miss watching him in dramas  But I understand that he prioritizes Highlight activities the most. 

 

Just wondering, are there any English subs available for Empty the Convenience Store? I tried finding but I didn't find any

And omg, he does look hot *.* Honestly, I have a lot of favorite Beast songs so it's hard to choose which one I like the most

I miss watching Doo in dramas to, but hopefully we get to see him again acting   

I don't think I've seen any English subs yet completely for the eps. I've only seen short scenes w english subs but not the whole ep. Hopefully there is some soon.

I actually have posted in this thread before a few times before but I was under a different un then. I was a full-time B2ST stan for a while but I still try to catch up with their activities (as Highlight now) from time to time. Doojoon is my bias in Highlight too! Personally, I don't really like the pic used in his badge tho lol

 

After my previous post, I went on to find more Shadow live perfs and I found a Doojoon fancam where they sang it as Highlight 

 

 

 

And he took over the first verse and he sounded soooooo gooooooood. I really love his singing voice. 

 

Ah I see! That's unfortunate! Hopefully the subs will come out faster! I notice that he has been getting television deals from tvn lately. tvn really loves him huh

Ooh okay,  well nice to see you again  And yeah, I try to catch up w their activities to. They're my UB group. It's nice to see a Doojoon stan, I don't there's a lot on here  I like his badge pic, lol but hopefully we'll find something better once awards season comes around (which i dunno when that will be lol)

Sorry for the late reply! Life has been keeping me busy 

I still love Highlight and their new releases but their older music still has a special place in my heart. I'll try to be more active here then!  Doojoon is so handsome and cool, and he can be really cute at times so there are so many things to spazz over him 

 

I know his latest drama appearance is his Daeyoung character as a cameo in 'Let's Fight Ghost' which I still haven't caught up yet (lol).

tvN’s foodie drama â€œLet’s Eat†will be returning for another season!

On August 1, a representative from tvN stated, “We’ve decided to begin production of ‘Let’s Eat Season 3.’ We haven’t determined an exact air date yet, but we’re currently casting the characters [for the drama].â€

“Let’s Eat†depicts the lives of single dwellers who bond over food. The series kicked off its first season back in 2013 and its second season in 2015.

I wonder if Doojoon would come back, altho they might add a new cast. I doubt Doojoon would since he's currently busy w Highlight activities  

 

 

OMG THIRD SEASON 

 

Doojoon definitely has to return for the third season! But I have to admit, despite him returning in the second season, I feel that the season is underwhelming and I find the lead heroine so annoying. She keeps trying to embarrass and ruin Daeyoung ever chance she gets and it annoyed the heck out of it that I couldn't continue the drama. Sorry if I had offended those who loved the second season  In short, Season 2 just felt like a completely new show though Doojoon mukbang is still a great sight to see  I hope Season 3 will be great and maybe they'll bring back the main cast from Season 1

Anyway, it's okay. I've been pretty busy myself.

I feel the same way about loving Highlight as well their older music having a special place in our hearts  I love Highlight's second mini album tho.

As for Let's Eat 3, I believe he turned it down. And I agree about season 2. I liked it but I liked the first season better. 

 

omg it's been such a loooooong time since I replied. I'm rather busy too with work. I barely have a social life cos of work 

I recently bought Highlight's album 'Celebrate' and wow I love all the songs inside. I received Junhyung PC and Doojoon's letter with my album! 

 

He turned down Let's Eat 3? Well I think that's for the better. I feel like his character suddenly became short-changed in Season 2? I find the lead heroine in Season 2 so damn annoying and always trying to sabotage his character? I couldnt watch past episode 2 cos I was so frustrated at how she intentionally bought a lot of food so that Doojoon's character would pay more since he was treating them to the meal but in the end, they dined in for free. I really hated it and from that point onwards, I knew Season 2 is going to be completely different from Season 1. Which was a shame since Season 2 had a lot of episodes compared to Season 1 (which meant more Doojoon screentime  )

 

But I heard he is cast in drama with Kim Sohyun. His first drama in 2 years! Cant wait!!

In a newly released preview from KBS’s upcoming drama “Radio Romance,†Highlight’s Yoon Doojoon and Kim So Hyun just can’t seem to get along!

 

The latest teaser shows Kim So Hyun hilariously struggling to keep things together amidst the hectic chaos of the radio station where she works. At the beginning of the clip, she enthusiastically declares her excitement about fulfilling her dream of becoming the head writer of a radio show. However, she quickly finds that her new gig isn’t exactly a bed of roses.

When the star DJ of her show—an A-list actor played by Yoon Doojoon—doesn’t show up on time, Kim So Hyun’s crazy boss begins to panic and scream wildly at her. Although she initially keeps her cool and tries to placate the DJ, Yoon Doojoon’s attitude makes it difficult for her to stay calm for long.

“Radio Romance†will begin airing on January 29 at 10 p.m. KST, after the end of “Jugglers.â€

Highlight’s Yoon Doojoon Reveals Why He Chose “Radio Romance†For First Drama In 2 Years

Highlight’s Yoon Doojoon recently opened up about his character in KBS’s upcoming drama “Radio Romance†and why he chose the role for his first drama in two years.

 

The idol-turned-actor will be making his return to the small screen through the role of Ji Su Ho, an immensely popular A-list actor renowned for his superior acting skills and his squeaky clean personal life.

Yoon Doojoon remarked, “I thought it would be fun to live the life of a superstar, which I haven’t been able to experience in real life.â€

He also shared that he was drawn to the role because of its honest portrayal of celebrity life. “Su Ho is a character that strongly depicts the ‘other side’ of celebrities,†he explained. “Although he has wealth and fame, he is a gloomy man who is completely empty inside.â€

He continued, “The character of Ji Su Ho is a difficult but enjoyable challenge for me. In my acting, I’m trying to focus on Su Ho’s psychological state as he slowly evolves over the course of the drama by facing a variety of unexpected situations.â€

In “Radio Romance,†Ji Su Ho ends up working as the DJ for a radio show, despite the fact that he has a hard time doing anything without a script. The drama follows his struggles amidst the exciting, action-packed daily workings of a radio station, where nothing ever goes according to plan.

Yoon Doojoon revealed that part of the reason “Radio Romance†had captured his attention was because he had always harbored a sentimental fantasy about radio. “I had a good feeling about the drama from just hearing the title,†he recalled.

The Highlight member went on to compare the drama to an actual radio show, saying, “‘Radio Romance’ is a drama in which each character has his or her own story. I think it’s a drama that can be best enjoyed by watching it as though you’re listening to and sympathizing with a caller’s story on a radio show.â€

“I’m nervous and excited to be returning to the small screen after a long time,†confessed Yoon Doojoon. “Please give the show a lot of interest and love.â€

“Radio Romance†will premiere on January 29 at 10 p.m. KST, after the end of “Jugglers.â€

KBS2’s upcoming drama “Radio Romance†has dropped a fun character teaser video for Highlight’s Yoon Doojoon and Kim So Hyun!

“Radio Romance†tells the story of Ji Su Ho (Yoon Doojoon), a top star who can’t do anything without a script, and Song Geu Rim (Kim So Hyun), the inexperienced radio script writer who casts him as a DJ.

In the video, Ji Su Ho shares a top star’s three tips for being a radio DJ, while Song Geu Rim shares a radio writer’s three tips for casting a celebrity. The first advice Ji Su Ho gives is “analog emotion,†which he demonstrates by sweetly saying good night to the viewers. Meanwhile, Song Geu Rim informs the audience that knowing a celebrity’s schedule is of first importance.

The remaining two tips for Ji Su Ho and Song Geu Rim overlap as they advise to have “thick skin†and “patience.†The teaser shows Ji Su Ho and Song Geu Rim bickering over these last two pieces of advice.

“Radio Romance†will air its first episode on Monday, January 29 at 10 p.m. KST, following the conclusion of “Jugglers.â€

KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Radio Romance†has revealed its main poster!

 

The new poster features the two leads, Kim So Hyun and Highlight’s Yoon Doojoon, looking cozy in the radio station that will serve as the drama’s main setting.

Yoon Doojoon, who will be playing an A-list actor-turned-radio DJ, exudes the confidence and self-assuredness of a global star as he holds up a letter sent in by a listener. Kim So Hyun, whose character in the drama is a fresh-faced radio script writer taking on the challenge of running her own show for the first time, looks earnest and hopeful as she clutches a radio script tightly with her hands.

The poster’s soft, sentimental vibe also hints at the tone of the drama—the warm, rosy glow enveloping the two actors seems to foretell a sweet, heartwarming love story.

In addition to the budding romance between the two leads, “Radio Romance†will also depict the exciting, action-packed daily workings of a radio station, where nothing ever goes according to plan.

And I love their Celebrate album! All their songs are amazing and I love Take on Me. I think it's my favorite. I got Dujun's photocard, my bias  Tbh, I thought the main girl character is season 2 was a little annoying to, lol. I honestly prefer the first season better of Let's Eat.

 

I haven't watched doo's new drama but I heard pretty good things about it. It's on my kdrama watch list. I still have yet to  finish weightlifting fairy >.<

I couldn't remember their songs now but I remember flipping through the photobook and they all look so goooooooood. The visuals are really A+++ And it is pastel colours too so it was very easy on the eyes ^^

 

Even so, I still keep the Season 2 episodes inside my computer...in case I suddenly feel like giving it chance lol tbh I'd rather watch Splash Splash Love a thousand more times than try out Let's Eat S2...

 

Yeah I already watched the first 10 minutes of the first episode and it looks really promising! I couldn't finish watching cos I had to sleep after taking my medicine. Doojoon seems to have really came very far an actor! I remember back then in Iris 2 he received a lot of flak and criticism for his acting but now it's all compliments and praises for him ^^

I'm surprised that Doojoon accepted the offer to star in 'Let's Eat 3'! I'm rather uncertain about the quality of the show but at least we'll get more epic scenes of Doojoon eating and savouring food!
