If you want to post pics, what I usually do is upload it first onto a site like imgur.com and then I post the link here. You can make it into a pic by clicking the picture looking symbol on the post bar (it's next to the blue <> arrows) and pasting the link there.

I agree with your comment. I really love to see Chanyeol when he's into the singing he's doing. It's so nice. 

 

How did you guys become chanyeol biased??

 

Chanyeol actually wasn't the first person in EXO that I chose as a "bias". Before him, in K, I thought it'd be Baekhyun. But there was something about Chanyeol at the showcase that really caught my eye and I couldn't stop wanting to learn more about him. I always joke that there must have been something really interesting about him for me to start liking him while he had the hair he did lmao. I enjoyed a lot about his personality and regardless what I did, I couldn't stop feeling intrigued and to me that said a lot. So within the month I finally admitted that he was the settled bias I had for EXO.

 

It took an entire year of following him closely after that before I admitted he was actually my ultimate bias as well. ^^ and I couldn't imagine it being any other way.

I admit, his looks in Wolf made me care about him atleast but i was shocked because there's so much more in him than just face: talents and attitude (which is sometimes misinterpreted).

 

Ohhh, I completely agree with you. I also think a lot of people have a hard time seeing beyond typical 'happy virus' Chanyeol, and that makes me sad. It was honestly seeing another side of him completely that made me more deeply interested.

He does! Isn't his taste in music the best? I'm forever amazed by what he likes. But it makes me more and more curious what his own music will sound like if he's influenced by that stuff. I hope we get to hear someday.

No rules~ just overly double posting unless a lot of time in between is discouraged, but that's an overall forum rule, not just one for here. 

I do a lot of my Chanyeol updating and keeping up with via Twitter and other ways and since this thread hadn't been as busy, did tend to neglect it. Sorry.

 

I'll get around to updating the OP soon though since it's a new year. :O

I agree with everyone about the song thing. I honestly feel like it's only a matter of time when it comes to him sharing one he did himself. I think so far SM has done a good job making it clear they do acknowledge his other musical talents outside of what he just does as his role in EXO and Chanyeol speaks very often about writing songs. Not to mention he takes his guitar almost everywhere. 

 

I just cannot wait. I think when the time comes, I'm just going to be filled with so much overwhelming sense of pride. I'll be so happy for him.

Definitely legit! LOL. Though I can agree I'm sure they touched it up some with photoshop. His stomach is definitely that flat, they just probably helped with the looking more toned.

I wouldn't worry about it. You have to be really careful in threads like that on the forum because you might take it to heart easily. They can make for interesting discussions but also can cause some people to harbor even more negative feelings so sometimes it's best to just avoid it. Whatever the case, don't let it upset you~ ^^

I can't believe I posted Chanyeol's happy trail and you finally make an appearance just to bring up Chankai (expected â™¥).

 

But actually on the subject of that Chankai scan, I loved it so much it became my first official background picture I ever used for Chanyeol on my phone. Before that I had always kept it at Onew.

Chanyeol fluctuated on my bias list until recently. Now he's for sure my #2 bias (totally not because of my ChanKai ship)

 

 

 

Random, but I love that he has armpit hair I'm not attracted to armpit hair (cause that is gross) but I hate when guys shave their underarms for no reason. 

 

It's weird because Chanyeol seems like he'd be just fine growing things hair wise but then you look at his legs and he hardly has any lmao He barely grows any there naturally. It's so funny to me to see. 

 

and omg really? That makes me feel so good to hear he's for sure your #2 bias. What was it that made you finally know? (Chankai always a bonus though).

His tone of voice is actually my second favorite in EXO. For (After I turn off my Kai bias lol) me it's

 

Kyungsoo > Chanyeol > Kai > Baekhyun > Suho > Sehun

 

Of course I prefer Baekhyun's singing over the rappers, same with Suho, but their tones don't always sound pleasant to me. Chanyeol's tone when he is singing is amazing. He has my favorite part in First Snow and Don't Go along with Kai. I adore their tones for some reason.

 

Then there is Chanyeol rapping which is eargasmic. He's the only one that I don't cringe a bit when hearing rap. Kai and Tao are decent, but I still cringe sometimes when I hear them rap. 

 

He is great on variety shows (even if sometimes he annoys the shit out of me) and honestly seems very hard working. His image may not be the most genuine (I don't think he's as happy and cheery as she shows on TV), but well that's not unique to him in the idol world so it's not something I care for too much. I love his smile so I really don't mind seeing him always laughing.

 

And lastly he's definitely one of the most aesthetically pleasing members in the group. In terms of appearance my Top 3 in EXO are:

 

Chanyeol > Kai > Kyungsoo

 

And the rest of EXO-K are about equal but I do find all members of EXO-K attractive

 

So I love his tone, his rapping, his variety skills, and his looks. The only reason he wasn't #2 before was because of my Kaisoo ship and he didn't really stand out in their debut era because they didn't go on variety and didn't do many radio shows (his part was also cut in the weekly version of MAMA).

 

I'M SO !!! in excitement. I just love when people love Chanyeol. Thank you for loving Chanyeol. 

 

On a note with his image, I think he really is the kind of person who does seem to be positive, but he does put in an extra effort to play the appearance of it even more so when the camera is on him. While it's no doubt he's great at doing it, I also don't think he's as fake as people like to think he is. Then again, those who do tend to be those who just don't pay close enough attention it seems. But on another note, you're right it's not 24/7 and I think when he doesn't have to worry about entertaining, that's when he's most interesting for me to watch. Forever intrigued by him.

 

And on the topic of his tone. T__________________T ugh I love it so much. I get excited when I hear him sing. He's by no means a main vocal in the making, but he actually doesn't sing bad at all, especially for someone who's main role is to be the rapper. He has some idea of what he's doing but I think the best thing about it is definitely tone. Because it's so pleasant to listen to. Any time he sings even the smallest bit, I get excited.

 

 

Chanyeol's voice surprised me so much and its weird because its so deep. My friend kinda helped me seal the deal, when she showed me Chansoo's cover of Nothing On You.   Their voices combined is soulful and sexy. it made me realize my love for Kyungsoo and Chanyeol's passion in music which is very endearing for me. But my favorite Chansoo cover will always be "Guilty" ft. Kris beause it didn't only showcase their singing but also Krisyeol's rapping. 

 

I love so much reading your posts. I'm so happy you're here in this thread, and I'm so happy you support Chanyeol. ^^

 

Chansoo voices really compliment one another. I want a duet with them more than anything. I constantly replay anything they've ever done together and I really hope we'll continue to hear more. They both mentioned in an interview once how many covers they work on together and that there's still so many people haven't heard. I'm sure the both of them enjoy singing together just as much as we love to all hear it. 

 

I really love "Guilty". One of my favorite things in that cover is when Chanyeol starts singing in his high notes. Like wtf they sound so beautiful? I really didn't expect it from him and I was really overwhelmed and may or may not have gotten tears (may have definitely gotten tears).

On the note of Chanyeol's singing, he looks so passionate when he does it. Or just with music in general, at that. I really admire him so much. I love when his eyes are closed and he's into what he's either rapping or singing, or just into the music he's performing and feeling it. And then when he smiles while doing so. It's probably my favorite thing in the world.

What you said about him is true. Haha. He's the first one that caught my attention (i've said this for like numerous time idk) because i've started paying attention during Wolf era. I think if I had started in Mama era, my bias would be Kai, Baekhyun, D.O or maybe members in EXO M, because he doesn't stand out at that time, they only a few appearances in variety shows where he is good at, and his hairstyles didn't help until late 2012. 

 

lmao the hair thing is so funny to me. Chanyeol was not the first to catch my attention, yet it was during The Showcase that I began wanting to. And that's when his hair was the worst LOL but there was something that I just really liked, and I couldn't put my finger on it. And before I realized it, I was spending all my time watching him more closely than the others. 

 

I love 2012 Chanyeol hair, even if 2013 was the most amazing. I'm so delulu and into my biasing that any awful hair you can show me I will blindly love unconditionally and find a reason why it's amazing. (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) hehehehhe
