Predictions Netizens Made About 2015 That Were Proven Wrong - All of them!!!

Mainly because Netizens never made predictions. They were just being their usual nasty little internet warrior selves and saying nasty things about idols and groups because they get off on it.

Red Velvet still shouldn't have added Yeri

Funny how people say Yeri is useless in Red Velvet cause its the opposite. Yeri brought Red Velvet one of their most useful assets. The RED image (happy, jolly, fun concept) of RV GREATLY improved when she joined (not that the group is lacking it's just more visible since a youngster joined them). And people ask why the group needed her when theres competant talent. SM is smart and learned well from failed acts (CSJH The Grace) who, IMO, had EVERYTHING from looks to talent. But they couldnt garner success. Why? They couldnt appeal to their mass public. Lack of youthful image hurt CSJH. They couldnt get popular.

In RV, you have 24, 22 year olds which are a little above the norm of "fresh" idols and Joy who, although quite young, actually has a mature look. After Be Natural failed hard, I'm SURE the company went to the books and figured out why. Yeri's such a cheerful person and brought up the public attention. Ice Cream Cake would not be the same without her. She fills the age gap to appeal to the younger crowd who are joining the fandom audience. She is like cherry on top of the ice cream, basically.

But for the SNSD prediction, even sones were a bit worried for their group. I mean it wasn't like "yes, they're going to flop", but with Mr Mr being one of their weaker releases (sales-wise) AND a member departure, it was hard not to worry about snsd's next album and have mediocre expectations for soshi.

Anyhow, I'm just saying that it wasn't necessarily a strange thing to have low expectations for snsd's next comeback and even fans were worried. I'm glad to admit that my expectations were proven wrong  :)

SNSD survived because after long period of time (especially after failed Mr. Mr era) SM actually used potential of them as a group and actually tried. They picked songs which highlighted what people like about Soshi. They also released three/four promotional songs as whole group, one as subunit and one solo. When was the last time something like this happened? They were in difficult position but changed it into year of SNSD. ^^

And Yeri wasnt needed in terms of talents, but she definitelly made Red Velvet better.
