Soompi: "After releasing her solo track “Touch,†CocoSori’s Sori spoke about her return and more at a showcase on September 4.

On her sexy concept for this new release, Sori said, “I’ve always done cute and unusual concepts, but when I decided to do a solo debut, I thought a lot about what I needed to show. I watched a lot of videos of famous international solo artists, and I realized that being sexy is important for solo artists. I tried to bring out that sexiness as a solo artist.â€

Sori recently appeared as a contestant on JTBC and YG entertainment’s survival show “MIXNINE.†A controversy arose over the comments that Yang Hyun Suk made during her audition, which included remarks that she was too old to be an idol. Following viewer criticism, Yang Hyun Suk uploaded a video of himself visiting Sori at her agency to show his support. In the end, Sori came in No. 7 among the final female contestants.

At her showcase, Sori was asked if there’s anything she wants to say Yang Hyun Suk. She replied, “To be honest, I thought that I could promote as a solo artist this time too thanks to â€˜MIXNINE.’ I think that that process is what brought me here. I want to say to Yang Hyun Suk, ‘I can do it too. Please keep watching.'â€

Hello! How can international fans support Sori's solo debut? Where can I buy the single?

 

1.) Stream the Music Video

 

2.) Vote on Music Shows for her 

 

Itunes and Google Play and Spotify don´t have her song listed yet, but let´s hope that it´s going to be added soon so we can buy it as well.

As happy as I am for Sori's solo debut, I can't help but feel a but sorry for Coco.  There's apparently some favouritism going on according to her stream, which imo is clear if you compared Touch with Sugar Cake.

 

i also thought it was just creative choice since coco´s mv is a plot driven, sentimental vibe mv and sori´s is all out sexy and colorful, but without a story per se. 

 

But on the other hand, businesswise, I´d also understand if the company has favoritism towards Sori because she´s far more popular in Korea? Like, if Coco has a ton more international fans, Sori has a ton more korean and japanese fans? And since that´s where the main money is coming from the company tends to focus on local business?

 

But at the same time it sucks because CocoSori as a duo have such amazing chemistry and a true friendship and mindblowing talent, it would be idiotic to prioritize one over the other, so the favoritism pisses me really off, personally...

So Cocosori's "Mi Amor" MV has 305,000+ views and Sori's debut already has 200,000 + views fD4JAZe.png

 

As the saying goes, sexy music videos get a lot of views, which is really great as well, but i just hope that all those people watching it also buy it ohdearplz.png

Well ... Sori is really very sexy with an amazing body ... I would understand a bit of hype around her ... 

Her MV is at 520K now ...

I also want to call her brave ... seems a shy girl and exposing herself a bit in that video ...

 

that´s true, from videos it seems like she is the shy type, but for this debut she overcame it and went all out just to show a new side and as an equally shy person in rl i feel like that was a huge step and i really respect her for that deepstareplz.png
