Like, you dislike them but at least, have the decency to write a post and explain why. I don't know but it's super annoying ... Come to think of it, it's quite the hard work to downvote all the comments so I guess ... BRAVO ? XD.

 

Why did she make you laugh ? (even though she was quite cute when she cried after being kind of ignored at the interview. I don't know, like a kid wanting a icecream but getting rejected by her parents. Bom Yi is such a sweetheart :P)

Don't worry, I am equally disgusted. I think, from now on, I am just going to focus on Sooyoung's activites to remain my sanity because really, those past few days have been a nightmare for me. I have to deal with a supposed asthma and getting ready to major in two different college's courses but now, I also have to deal with Inetz and Knetz hating on the girls ? I really can't handle it.

And so, I realized and decided to just put my focus on My Spring Days and Sooyoung. I don't care if it's super selfish but I can't read anymore those comments. Really, I think I am going to quit KPOP ... I am just so freakin' disgusted by people. For real.

 

 

As for the ratings, I was a little bit taken aback when I saw them but we don't need to worry too much. Everyone is blaming the Asian Games for the decrease in ratings so yeap'. It's not just MSD which is affected so it doesn't really represent the drama's quality or decrease in viewers' attention. Plus, MBC gave the wrong info on their website and DAUM. They talked about a delay of 30 minutes but it aired at 10.00 PM as usual so yeap', people may have watched later hence decrease.

It's the same for the timeslot of Mon/Tues. The highly anticipated Secret Door has disappointing ratings for now and they are barely passing the 10% as well. 2014 is a really bad year for KDramaland's ratings, seriously. Let's just hope that after, AG are over, the ratings will pick up If not, let's just rejoice that we are still #1, haha :D

Episode 8 was just so sweet for OTP. Lots of staring and glancing, daamn daamn :D

I really can't wait for the subs. Chemistry is on fire, guys :D

Let's wish for good ratings too. It's so upsetting that Asian Games is ruining them all. I get that sports is important but yeap'. I would have prefered the drama airing when nothing is up, haha.

 

 

Let's be happy as Sooyoungsters :D For my part, I decided to stop it all and just enjoy my freakin' life. I realized that I became too damn concerned over those things ... It's not healthy at all. So yeap', I am just going to stop :D

I really don't know. One can not quit KPOP that easily, I would probably still check on korean news sites like allkpop and soompi to see new released songs, KVariety shows/KDramas' news ... etc. But yeap', I won't be as concerned as before. To be frank, I have realized that I wasn't as addicted as I was back in 2008. I can't say that everything is boring but with that huge influx of idols/nonsense fanwars/scandals ... etc. It's just so offputting that I feel that my interest dropped a lot.

 

As for SNSD, I am still a fan and I will always treasure them/feel hurt when people bash them but I can't deny that those past few months, I have been really disappointed by their promotions and their career music-wise. They still manage to release great songs but still, I really wanted for them to explore their "inner music" and I know that SM is to blame for it but yeap'. So I can't say I will stop following Soshi because nobody can't do that especially when you have been with them for years but my focus will be 100% on Sooyoung for most parts. It's weird because it's not something that I decided all of sudden. I have been thinking like that for a couple of weeks now. I am still going to check on the other members' too though.

To resume, I see myself more like a Sooyoungster than a Sone right now. Sorry if I disappoint !

I am really satisfied with the ratings. I know it's weird because it's quite low but the episode aired 20 minutes later (they say at 10.00 PM but I was livestreaming and it was 20 minutes late lol) so, it's really impressive we managed to get an increase. The "real" ratings will be next week when Asian Games will be over I hope we will be able to pick up the ratings from episode 4. When I think about it, it's so frustrating that the drama had to air on that period lol because we might have stayed in double digits ratings. Duh, never mind, the ratings will be better next week. Keep in mind that Mon/Tues timeslot is affected too so it's not that bad :P (that everyone is suffering LOL)

I have finished livestreaming Hanbam and My Spring Days. Damn it, I am so exhausted. As a geek/nerd, I am quite busy, haha.

And of course, as an idiot, I had to read comments from allkpop and onehallyu after Sooyoung apologized. I swear, those people, I want to smack them in the head.

"Why did she just apologize, she should have explained the whole situation ! Fake, betrayer, b*tch" Yeah, because Hanbam is her own program where she can afford to waste 10 minutes of live filming just to please some immature and ignorant fans, huh ? No but for real, I just can't with those people.

It's obvious that she couldn't express her true feelings about the whole situation. She did the most appropriate thing to do : apologizing. So sorry but not sorry for the people not pleased with it. Guess I would have to wait Knetz's comments now. I fear and wonder their reactions. Usually, they are on Soshi8 but usually too, they are against Sooyoung and love to bash her so let's see. Daamn, at times like this, I really don't want to read the comments and yet, I can't help but do it. I guess I am a sadist --'

 

OMO, episode 9 was so so so good. I just how how Bom Yi is intelligent and mature ! I was so afraid that she would turn into a pudding like how most heroines do but nooope, our BY is amazing

And Sooyoung's acting was just DAE to the BAK        . For real, she was really good and it's such a shame that netizen9 is kinda dead because I really wanted to read netizens' praises. So far, Sooyoung's acting career is sealed no matter if ratings aren't that high. She is getting complimented left and right so yeaap' :D

I've missed out on the past week or so, does anyone know how her drama has been doing in the ratings?

 

 

Even though they are single digits ratings, nowadays, it's considered "good" and "decent" so you can say that it is doing quite well. Plus, the drama is #1 on its timeslot and has at least a lead of 3% on its competitor so it's pretty awesome.

I have finished reading some Korean articles and lots of them are praising Sooyoung for her acting skills on yesterday's episode. There are also a lot of users saying that she surpassed herself and really broke the idol prejudice so she is gaining a lot of recognition as an actress too ;D

Y'know, I really want to cry right now. Sooyoung is gaining so much recognition thanks to My Spring Days, hahahaha. No but seriously, I remember my depressing posts about how there were no news about her future acting projects and all and look at me now. I am such a happy Sooyoungster nowadays :DD

For real, all those praises and compliments are so overwhelming. It's like people are giving them to me instead of Sooyoung XD.

 

Did you watch BTS's videos ? They are so damn funny and adorable ! Sooyoung is really getting along very well with the cast and staff members. Our girl isn't a mood-maker or the Happy Princess for nothing <3

For the Seoul ratings of episode 10, it's 9.3% ;D

 

I was a little bit depressed about it but at least, the show is doing "decent" with the worst rating being 8.1% so it's not that bad :P

Let's keep hoping for better ratings though. Our girl and MSD so deserve it :D Episode 10 was freakin' amazing.

Gah, 2014 is such an amazing year for Sooyoung and Sooyoungster. 2013 was already great but damn damn damn, I am just too happy nowadays :D

By the way, if Siwon and Sooyoung dated in the past, they should be awkward with each other instead of hugging so I guess all our theories fell apart lol. Ratings for My Spring Days' episode 12 :

 

National : 8.5%

Seoul : 9.4%

 

A little decrease but let's not be too bummed by it Nowadays, it's really hard for a primetime drama to get into double digit ratings and, at least, we are dominating the Wed/Thursday timeslot, haha :D

Lots and lots of good comments and reviews keep pouring for the drama. I also read tons of praises thrown to Sooyoung so it always makes me feel so damn good. And it's making me laugh so hard when I am remembering the comments of some Knetz on Netiz9n lol. They can't accept the fact that the girl is slaying nowadays so of course, they go for her looks.

Bunch of pathetic losers but somehow, I felt bad for them because heck, how can't you love and fangirl over that amazing woman, duh ??

 

Awwwww<3 have you seen the bts pictures of episode 12 where sooyoung tries to protect kang buja's eyes from the sun's rays?Such a good hoobae

 

Yeah and some reps of the production team said that Kang Bukja is really fond of Sooyoung because she is such a sweetie with her and always asking for acting advices. It's pretty awesome, huh ;D

 

By the way, I feel like Sooyoung's next project is going to be a family weekend drama. I don't know why I have that feeling but I just do. I know that it's extremely exhausting to do them because of the hardship of filming conditions and the number of episodes but they tend to get higher ratings and a wider range of audience so they are still pretty awesome for any actors. Gah, whatever, I should stop talking about it whereas MSD is still airing lol.

 

SOOYOUNG WAS FREAKIN AMAZING THIS WEEK. She nailed the scene where she had to switch between the "girl in love" persona and the "daughter begging her mother for understanding her love". Her tears, damn it. It seems so easily for her to cry ! It's just so impressive how she improved whereas she was already great in Cyrano XD. Choi Actress in full force

I understand your feelings  I think people who look negatively at sooyoung are mostly random netizens anyway,most sones like her,they're just not that interest in her as much as they are in their biases,and sometimes,unfortunately, they forget her (yes I've seen this happen and sooyoungsters reminding them there is also sooyoung in the group )..also, people who criticized her because she couldn't attend smtown were just angry because jessica's news was still fresh,and more than criticizing her they were criticizing all the snsd members and SM,it was just the wrong timing and sooyoung,as always,was at the center of attention, it happened also with hanbam when she apologized (well,in this case,they seriously were irrational)

 

About the hate she gets from netizens,that makes me mad a lot because it's unnecessary,I remember watching snsd the strongest group and laugh my a** off when she talked about how she was found by SM and how much her face had changed,she was really funny,but ,the day after, there was an article about it, and all the netizens could say was how ugly and plastic she is and that she has no talent blah blah blah..It's incredible how hard they try to not recognize sooyoung's good qualities..

She's a good MC--> overrated

She's a good actress--> she's an idol,and she's even ugly ,so I will not watch her drama and stay always in the ignorance

She's funny on variety shows--> unnoticed

She has stage presence--> only hyoyeon has stage presence

She can dance well and sing decently--> she has no talent

Damn, you managed to make me cry. I am thinking the exact same thing. It's just so damn upsetting. Like, if she caused some kind of huge scandals, I would have somehow understood the hate but SHE DIDNT DO ANYTHING AT ALL.

In the past, when she didn't get much recognition, people loved her even called her the Anti's Darling but now that she got a little bit popular, people are throwing rocks at her. It's just crazy ...

No but for real, I felt so down yesterday thinking about My Spring Days' episode 12 but reading those comments made me so happy because even though they are just Knetz' comments, I can tell that their praises and acknowledgement of Sooyoung's acting skills are legit and genuine because most of the times and even all the time, they are pretty harsh on her so yeap', it makes the whole thing so much better.

Plus, reading the article, it's not just viewers feeling that way but "drama critics" too. HOW FREAKIN' AMAZING IS THAT. Get that recognition, Choi Actress, haha.

Gah, I remember someone making some kind of word game with the drama's title when she was casted for the drama ...What was it again ? Ah yes, "the springtime of my career" XDD.

They are some comments from Sooyoung Ceci's pictural/cover article on netiz9n. I am posting them because I am seriously curious how it is bad that she shares similarities with Ock Jun Hyun.

I have known her as a former member of Fin.K.L who managed to overcome the idol prejudice to become a respected musical actress and vocalist. Plus, she was also introduced as SNSD's Godmother on their Win Win's episode and it seems that she really gets along with the girls (I saw a recent picture of her hanging out with Yuri).

 

So yeah, at first, I didn't get it and went to search for some scandals that I might not have been aware of and FINALLY ... I found nothing lol. Except for "Ock Jun Hyuk plastic surgery", there is nothing bad to say about that woman so WTH, Knetz lol.

Frankly and despite all the bad intentions behind those words, I am quite honored and proud that people assimilate her to OJH. She is one of those rare former girl group's members who managed to get a successful solo career with her own talents so it's pretty awesome.

I was seriously shocked when Kim Seung Woo said that Lee Soo Man declared that Sooyoung was the best actress in SNSD (or was it in SM ? Can't remember) because I was like "WTH DID SHE HAVE TO WAIT 5 YEARS FOR A SECOND FEMALE LEAD ROLE, THEN ?"

But somehow, I think it was the best for Sooyoung to wait 2012 to really start her acting career. I don't know how to explain it but she seems so much more mature and because she focused on her acting studies first, you can tell that she learned a lot, matured her acting ... etc. Just my thought, haha.

So, I have just finished the livestream for episode 13 and dayum, dayum, our girl surpassed herself. Is that even possible ? Her crying scenes improved so much. Like, she was already good in Third Hospital but with this drama, she is killing it and I am not even exaggerating because she is my bias. She is just wonderful.

I checked for some comments on DAUM and this one killed me "Wow ... Today, the acting was really no joke". HOW AWESOME IS THAT ?

AHH, the ratings I wonder if it's part due to "My Lovely Girl" being cancelled due to a baseball game, but anyways it does seem Koreans viewers do love angst and also because "My Spring Days" is such an awesome drama.

 

I don't really think so because so far, the audience for My Lovely Girl and My Spring Days are just so different. Plus, as you said, Korean viewers really love angst so it was expected we are getting an increase. It might be true though. We will have to see how the ratings will be for episode 14 :D
