Guys, do you think it's possible that Sooyoung will get a drama this year? SNSD is preparing for their comeback and there they are planning to have another Japanese tour in the end of this year. Plus she needs to rest. I can only imagine how tiresome is a comeback with three songs instead of one...

I really miss Actress Choi.  :._.:

I've seen some SIG's fans attacking Sooyoung on Twitter. They think she can't act (and of course they haven't seen any of her dramas before).

More info about Syoo's drama

Ooh, Seo In-gook in a comic crime drama? I’m in! I know he just did I Remember You, which was a crime procedural of sorts, but Seo In-gook and comedy will always be the winning combination in my book. He’s entertaining an offer to headline the newest drama from OCN’s hit writer Han Jung-hoon (Bad GuysVampire Prosecutor) called Police Unit 38, about a specialized police squad that goes after tax evaders. Girls’ Generation’sSooyoung (My Spring Days) is being courted as well, and Bad Guys’ Ma Dong-seok has been attached since the project was first announced in December.

The new series sounds similar to Bad Guys and yet completely the opposite: A special task force will mix cops and criminals in order to catch bad guys, but this time the good-bad guys will be con artists who use their skills of fraud and deception in order to help catch tax evaders. If that sounds strange and hilarious, I think that’s the point — the drama will be a comedy about using criminal tactics to catch real criminals, aka rich people who try to weasel out of paying their taxes.

It’s pretty specific (not to mention funny) to create a drama about catching tax evaders, but the premise seems to reflect the current public sentiment rather perfectly — namely that the rich shouldn’t get away with not paying their taxes like everyone else, and if there were any justice in this world, they would be tracked down and forced to pay by any means necessary.

That’s where the police unit comes in. They’ll use every con in the book to catch their targets, from voice phishing, pharming, insurance and real estate scams, to fake antiquities and delivery scams. It doesn’t sound legal, but Bad Guys busted killers out of jail to catch killers… so yeah. Any other tactic seems rather minor compared to that. It’s certainly a new idea to recruit con artists to become heroes of the people, though good luck trusting the members of your team.

The actors’ roles haven’t been specified, but I could certainly see all three of them as slick, shifty con artists. I hope it’ll have a heist-caper feel (getting a band of thieves together just has that ring to it, don’t you think?).

Police Unit 38 will be 100% pre-produced, and is being planned for the post-Vampire Detective slot on Saturdays and Sundays in May-June.

ikr? omg i ship them so hard. i knew from the start that they would have amazing chemestry :ahmagah:

Seriously, I was affraid Syoo's character was going to end up with Baek Sung Il (thanks God he's married ).

BTW, am I the only one who's worried about Mi Joo? Sung Hee clearly doesn't like her.

Okay, since I finally have some free time I'm going to rewatch Jung Do - Sung Hee scenes. I'm a sucker for a good romance :ahmagah: .

People on my T-list were complaining that they couldn't stream yesterday's episode due to the heavy rain in Korea. Maybe that's why the rating is low.

lol, once again that obsessed SIG fangirl is talking shit about Sooyoung's character

i'll put it in spoiler, cause it's honestly hilarious

- When YJD was hit by the mini truck his mind flashes back to CSH? Like why?!! Why would it even go there? He was in a hurry and his main focus was about achieving the con. It's like those almost near death experiences, the person encounters a flashback of sorts. This drama isn't romance-themed but a crime/corruption themed drama so I just can't let it slide that YJD would think of CSH subconsciously at that very moment when his mind is very focused on arriving at Hwaseong City Hall so he can pull off the con in time before MJS arrives. I would expect that if YJD would flashback when his car was hit it would be at the time his dad was imprisoned cos I'd like to believe that whatever he's doing now, the endgame would be to get his dad out of prison. Only a romance-themed drama would push a flashback connecting a past encounter between past lovers... like how they met etc.

- I don't know what the writer is trying to achieve with CSH's character. She's either so naive or really stupid. Why would she think that she can actually make BPG pay 49M when a more senior officer like BSI who has 8 years experience on the job can't even make MJS pay around 6M in taxes? Like seriously?!

- The things I mentioned above is what really bothers me cos I feel that the writer is trying make CSH a relevant character but is failing miserably and I feel there's this kind of continuity gap with the story-telling whenever they make the scenes ABOUT her....like it takes away precious time not to mention logic with how the story flows whenever the writing goes sideways trying to integrate her character into the story.

she's pretty much the only user having a problem with Sooyoung and the romance between her and SIG (despite being like what...2 minutes each episode or sometimes none at all?).

geez, if she hates Sooyoung's character so much and thinks she has no relevance at all, then she should skip her parts

saying that all her scenes are a waste of time is very rude. Sooyoung is the lead female so of course she needs to be involved in the story in some way

OMG, is she even serious? LOL. I thought actors' fangirls were mature enough to not to hate their beloved oppas' co-stars. It's honestly ridiculous how much one female can hate another for such a silly reason. Maybe because I'm more a girl groups fan, but this "my oppa is a saint, but there's this annoying wench, I want to punch her in her face" thing needs to be stopped.
The fact those comments are written by women makes me sick. I thought there was something like the solidarity of the vaginas, but I guess not.
People treat SungHee like she's a dumb brat who wants her revenge on the guy who dumped her years ago. I can't believe they are siding with a jerk who treated her like a unworthy trash no one cares about (I know JD had a good reason to do it, but the way he broke up with her was just straight up wrong). He basically crushed SH's self-esteem, why would you even defend him?
SH is treated like a villain and she's the one with a respect for the law. Why is it sooo hard to understand she wants to protect her boss she admires soo much from a bad guy.
And the fact that she questions SungHee's role. I literally can't with her. SungHee is third most important character in this drama. Why? Because she makes JungDo human. Without her he would be like a indestructible robot with no feelings. I love how much different he is from his usual perfect himself when he talks to her, when he sees her, when he thinks about her. She's his weakness. A weakness that makes him real.

that is something people fail to understand, specifically that user.....

like that flashback he had of Sunghee after the accident? i thought it was pretty nice. it means he still thinks about her and possibly still loves her. i didn't see it as "unnecessary". we know they were lovers in the past, therefore these flashbacks need to be shown in order to understand what went wrong in their relationship

In this is type of drama (alpha male-centered) a subtle romance is required. And I freaking love this one. #TeamJungHee (JD's way of breaking up with SH still sucked).

BTW, this scene...

same, haha. his face was so adorable

love at first sight? lol

Well, that's exactly how I looked when I saw Syoo for the first time in Genie MV.

The old man has kick him to the curb I expect he may get killed or better yet kill off CSH she very annoying they plan was good but there's a snitch amongst them.. Somebody tip that old man off and the one room they should have check for hidden romms they didn't even bother and that's the maids room, This tells me she's not very bright at all it's noithing for the wife and old man to put that stuff in her room and claim it's her's and they can't touch it..

now this is going too far, wth

i honestly don't wanna lurk on that thread anymore, there's too much hate towards Sunghee, which is pathetic. they're all acting like she's a bitchy villain

Don't waste your time of them. SungHee is going to slay, whether they like it or not.
