JustCallMeDaisyy 2,584 Posted May 10, 2014 Share Posted May 10, 2014 wow, just wow. get that relevancy, Sooyoung <33 omg. i was't expecting to see her higher than Yoona, be she is. this just confirms that the majority of the professional critics (not only them but sones/non sones in general) choose Sooyoung as the best SNSD actress. and i'm honestly not surprised. so proud <333 hopefully this will be a slap in the face to those stupid drama directors. they don't know what they're losing, tbh. and i wouldn't say the netizens are on Sooyoung's side?? because, there isn't much upvotes, anyway but it' always a good thing, of course. it would be worse if the comments said "Sooyoung with an A? NO WAY, she sucks" or "....but she doesn't have the right looks" (cause you know how selfish Korean netizens are) But those comments were either from Sooyoung's haters or Won Bin's butthurt fans. LMAO. SO MUCH STUPIDITY... you know the netizens can't say anything about her acting, anyway, because deep inside they know she's god, that's why they always talk about her face It's because she's an idol. And to be honest, I'm also irritated with some Idols acting in dramas, cause most of them are terrible. So I can understand Knetz in some cases, BUT there are also talented Idols that should have been actors instead since the very beginning. And our Soo is one of them. And I know, Sooyoung must work much harder to get a role than her labelmates, since her looks aren't appreciated in SK. It irks me so much... It's so unfair. That's why I think she has greater chance to succed as an actress in Japan. She went to Tokyo with managers and the other stuff so it has to be connected with her job . Then again kdramas don't require much acting skills soo.." Can that person be really called a Sone ? Gah, whatever, Sooyoung is still freakin' amazing :D I completely agree with you. In the past, I used to defend all idols actors but now, after watching so many awful acting from most of them, I just can't bring myself too. Of course, it's unfair when they bash someone like Sooyoung who is an idol but is good at acting but y'know, netizens are netizens lol. At least, she got recognition for her acting and MCing even if it's just by " a few". I think Sooyoung is like a dark sheep/dark horse. All the spotlight is put on her teammaters and nobody expects her to do something and then, BAM, a good and popular project and her popularity is suddenly rising ... Well, it's how it works. She just needs a popular project which showcase her skills too. As I said many times, she has people like Shin Hyun Joon supporting her so I wouldn't be too worried about her future. She is going to surprise everyone in the near future ;D About Hungariansone... Just ignore him. He's pretty famous among Sooyoungsters for promoting OT8 and hating on Sooyoung like there is no tommorow. Even people from this site with confessions about SNSD (on Tumblr) are making fun of him and his dumb blog, and that's really something since Sooyoung is the most hated member (along with Fany) there. So they used Sooyoung's photos to convince him. The whole conversation ended up spazzing about Sooyoung, her 24 Hours performance and things like that. Other members have a lot outdoor photoshoots, their outfits are more on the fancy side. And Sooyoung always gets white background and casual clothes. Probably the only exceptions were 1. one of the photoshoots for Double M 2. the one with Fany for Vogue. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore this photoshoot for Celebrity, cause she looks drop dead gorgeous and I love the sailor theme. Yet, I would like to see something different. I just think she deserves more interesting photoshoot visually. Cause nowadays, all she gets is white/grey background and plain clothes. It looks more like an endorsement in which she needs to present the clothes she's wearing than a photoshoot for a celebrity (that includes an interview and also shows her personality, not only looks). I want to see more Sooyoung in these photos. More close-ups on her face, because now they are using her as a mannequin, since she has perfect body for modelling. It's like always the same photoshoot over and over. Her modelling gigs used to be much more diverse (especially in 2012). Those wigs, different styling, Sones had hard time to recognize her, she was like chameleon. IMO, these are her best photoshoots: InStyle (2012) You can't even recognize her, she looks like a different person thanks to the wig. And that photo in backless red jumpsuit... No wonder it used to be her wallpaper. High Cut (2012) Interesting styling, shots from different angles, it looks more artistic than commercial. VOGUE (2011) It's creepy and beautiful at the same time. I absolutely adore this photo in which she's looking at the camera. Tiffany is doing exactly the same thing, but the effect is different. I get chills every time I see this photo. I have mixed feeling when it comes: 1. Star1 (some photos are breathtaking, but in some of them her head is unaturally small and it looks ridiculous). 2. The Star with Yuri (I love the concept, but the styling is tragic. both Sooyoung and Yuri look sick, because of the blemishes and oily-looking skin. And don't her me started on Sooyoung's poodle hairstyle). 3. InStyle 2014 (again, nice concept, but some of the photos look awkward). The terrible ones: 1. W Korea 2013 ( no comment, why they did this to her... why...) 2. High Cut 2013 with Seohyun (it looks like they had no idea what to do, so they decided to include some random stuff like ice cream, juice in a carton, a bench, table and couple of books. In some of the photos SooSeo look like 10-year-old girls wearing cute dresses and in the others on the main focus are their legs and boobs. It doesn't make sense.) Sooyoung got many compliments about her acting, there was literally ONE person who said she had been only "okay" as Gong Min Young. A lot of people thought she was a rookie actress, since most of them aren't into Kpop. All those comments made me sooooo proud.
