I hope she is going to host some shows in the latter half of this year. And obviously, I miss a lot more Actress Choi. I still have my fingers crossed for the role of Hong Seol in The Cheese in the Trap drama adaptation. The character is so complex and yet, just plain amazing. It is really challenging and with Park Hae Jin as co star ? Heaven ! Suure the backlash will be craaazy but she will prove them wrong with her performance. I am so sure of that. In so many shows like this, you see guests bring overshadowed by MCs because they dont really bring anything on the table or they are just being cattered but Sooyoung did so well because she just blended with them. I guess being close with them really brought a great chemistry on set. You can tell that the staff was really laughing. She was joking around without being considered too rude towards a senior she was really witty with lots of charms so yaaaay for more Sooyoung on TV shows ! By the way, did she talk about her big head complex ? Seeing how they joked about it and when they showed the female staff after. Oh and is there any articles with translated netizens' comments ? SNSD is preparing for their comeback and there they are planning to have another Japanese tour in the end of this year. Plus she needs to rest. I can only imagine how tiresome is a comeback with three songs instead of one... I really miss Actress Choi. Frankly, I will be so disappointed if she doesnt do one this year. Ever since 2012, she has been doing one drama by year, so I was expecting some good news around mid 2015 but nothing seems to come. Some time is still left before the end of the year tho so there is still hope but yeap, it is kind of depressing. I can understand that with the whole Jessica situation, she wants to focus on the group more but I really want her to be more and more recognized as an individual. Like, I know they were joking but it pissed me off when the PD said "other than your height you add nothing more to SNSD, right ?". Even after all her hard work, is it still how people see her like ? It is so freakin unfair. You dont even have to be biased to consider her as the best actress, MC, model and variety star of SNSD. And yet, nothing out of it ... I also get that she may be waiting for the "bad" role she mentionned so many times in interview, but I am greedy so I prefer her to be cast in a project as quickly as possible. I get that she has all the reasons to pick it and one of them being her father is truly amazing and heartwarming but I sure hope it aint going to be her only drama in 2016 because I would be so pissed off. I know she doesnt want to overwork herself and that she chose her scripts very carefully but somehow, I cant help but be concerned about her acting career. Am I overreacting ? I guess so. I would have just prefered for her to have a steady career in dramas instead of having a huge break between 2008-2012. Yeah she did cameos and netizens' comments wouldnt have been better, most probably, but somehow, I just think all that time was wasted. Not that she is old now but with 2017 coming "soon", members going more and more with individual activities, I am getting scared. No doubt that she will do great but it is such a hard thing to do. Anyway, I am proud of her. Instead of of playing safe, she keeps challenging herself. Someone mentionned that when she debuted, Gong Hyo Jin used to get a lot of backlash for not being a pretty face. But look at her now, she is a wall ! Fromm the beginning, Sooyoung has been portraying difficult characters - ones with illness (Bom Yi & her Third Ward character), now a blind girl. Even Min Young was complex- she was outgoing, bubbly, romantic and sweet, but also very sensitive despite her talkative and loud character....Well, I already talked about that on my blog analyzing kpop actresses, but anyway. I don't understand Korea, at all. Sooyoung is one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. She is absolutely stunning and has such a unique, gorgeous face. She's by far the prettiest in SNSSD in my mind and my friends. Anyway, I hope they get a slap to the face and realize how amazing and flawless she is and why they ought to stan her to death. Someone....did Sooyoung and her boyfriend break up? Someone said only Taeyeon was left dating in SNSD. Is it true? I was rooting for them so much >.< Completely agree with everything you said, ha ! No no. That person got it wrong. It is Sooyoung who is the only one left dating. As of now, she is still dating Jung Kyung Ho and in fact, we have been discussing about how cute their relationship is XD. Taeyeon already broke up with Baekhyun. I am seriously anticipating Sooyoung's acting skills more than ever. I dont think it will have a lot of coverage but still, it is definetely a must see performance Oh and I dont really worry for her chemistry with the male lead.
