It would really be hilarious if she guested on Running Man because I still remember how funny her running was in Enjoy Today and how everyone was making fun of her saying that she has long legs but can't use it properly (and the BGM while she was running killed me XD).

Shin Hyun Joon was kind of training her when he said "Oh gosh', you are so bad !", coming from the slowest among the cast's members lol.

 

Except if they do another SNSD special or she is casted in a SBS drama, I doubt she will be in the show soon which sucks so bad. But luckily for all the Runners around the world, RM won't be ended anytime soon seeing how despite having 160+ episodes, they still have two digits ratings and an amazing popularity in the rest of the world so yeah, Sooyoung may be guest one day but I really hope she will come with someone or people she is comfortable with. Like Shin Hyun Joon or even her co host Yoon Do Hyun (they are hosting the SBS Entertainment News program so I guess it works ?)

Anyway, if she comes, I'm pretty sure she will chose Suk Jin and Kwang Soo aka Easy Brothers. She was close to Big Nose Hyung during Star Golden Bell and her and Kwang Soo would be freakin freakin amazing because both of them are my ultimate favorites ! And they were in Dating Agency Cyrano together (kind of).

Korea Drama Awards is for tomorrow, right ?

I don't even know why I'm so impatient over this event because I know damn well that she isn't going to win but still, I keep faith lol. Ha Yeon Soo is supposed to be the super rookie actress of 2013 so I guess she would be the one winning the award. Guess I should wait the result

I watched the winners' list of 2012 and it seems to be a pretty fair award ceremony (not like MBC/SBS ... etc.) seeing how Unexpected You won award of the year.

Just read the article on allkpop and found out that Boa won the rookie actress. Didn't expect it since I read some bad reviews for her performances but oh well, I guess I should congratulate her because she is Sooyoung's labelmate and KPOP's Queen but doesn't feel like it --'

 

Anyway, Sooyoung is super duper gorgeous in HanBam as always. She has such good chemistry with Yoon Do Hyun that both of them just make me laugh so much (even though i don't know what the hell they are talking about !)

SERIOUSLY ?? I know that it is how it works for music award ceremony like MAMA or even SBS/MBC/KBS drama awards but I thought Korea Drama Award was legit. At least, IHYV dominated as the most popular drama of 2013 but still. I can't believe that Boa won for a 2 episode drama which just ended.

Hanbam is a live show, right ? I guess she knew she wouldn't win or just didn't want to go and ... Oh well, I'm just waiting for her to have another acting gig and this one, in a NATIONAL NETWORK !

I'm so dying to know what they said. it's TORTURE lol. Gotta wish that back to high school, instead of Spanish, I woud rather have Korean as third language gosh' !

There was someone subbing Sooyoung's Hanbam parts but that person stopped. She uploaded videos on Dailymotion and stopped in July. I wonder why. It was great work :D

 

Oh and SM is going to do another drama called Miss Korea if I remember. Story looks interesting and of course, the main lead gotta be a SM artist so I hoped that Sooyoung would be the main character even though she said she returned to school but turned out that most people think it's going to be Lee Yeon Hee. In all logic and reading netizens' comments when they compared Yeon Hee and Sooyoung's looks, Yeon Hee suits more korean beauty standard but gosh', acting skills, Sooyoung is far more superior so I'm praying for her to have the rol and accept it.

If SM really cast YH, no wonder that SM dramas are such a fail. Casting wise and rating wise --'

well, it won't be Sooyoung, for sure....despite the fact that even Lee Soo Man said Sooyoung was the best actress in SNSD, i don't think she will ever get the main role in an SM drama..Sooyoung isn't that pretty to Koreans (unfortunetely) and all they care about is their (lame) beauty standards. Sulli got the main role in "to the beautiful you" and she's the visual, so i'm assuming that they maybe will call Yoona for "miss Korea", since she's a visual too 

 

Yeah, I remember when Kim Seung Woo said that, people were shocked because they failed to understand why the hell LSM didn't push Sooyoung acting career more but even though she got the talent, he must have knew that her looks wasn't on par with korean beauty standard and so, waited for her to get a chance thanks to the SNSD name. Sooyoung said it herself that when she did acting auditions before being in SNSD, she was rejected so many times. I don't think the reason was her skills but more like she was unknown and not beautiful enough for their "visuals". It's saaad.

I thought Yoona was in talk for Prime Minister with Lee Bum Soo ?

I don't know why but I giggled inside when I read that Sooyoung and Choi Jin Hyuk received the awards together. I guess a big part of it is because I watched the episode of Strong Heart so many times and so, I can't stop thinking about Sooyoung yelling "IS YURI, THE ONLY SNSD MEMBER ?" And him laughing at the imitation. Plus, the two of them are having a great year in 2013. Entertainment world is sure small

SNSD acting like a band in the MV reminds me of the MV of the song "Girls Generation" XD. Such a long time, duh ...

it's not the first time an american celebrity chooses Sooyoung as his/her bias. remember Simon Curtis? =)

 

besides, Sooyoung is one of the most popular (if not, the most popular) member in the US

 

But Tiger JK isn't an American celebrity, he is the father of korean hip hop. You don't know him ? He is the founder of Jungle Entertainment which has artists like Yoon Mi Rae, his wife and Leessang (Gary of RM and Gil of IC)

 

I do remember Simon Curtis but having the k-hip hop godfather saying that Sooyoung is his bias is just mindblowing and completely amazing lol.

If I remember correctly, he was born and raised in the USA so he is pretty fluent in English. But he yeah, he does look American XD.

After the disappointment of the Korea Drama Awards 2013 which shouldn't be considered a surprise seeing how most korean award ceremony are full of BS at the time, I'm telling myself it's ok if she doesn't win any awards and all because plenty of rookie actors who had fantastic debuts went through the same because they weren't well-known but at the same time, it just sucks and I so want her to appear in another drama/movie ASAP because for one, I can't get enough of her and two, I really see her becoming a great actress if she keeps improving. Y'know, it's more than her being my biais but when you read her interviews about acting, she holds a great passion and doesn't consider it as a way to get great exposure. You can feel her sincerity and respect for acting (and God knows how much I freakin' love people like that lol)

But yeah, sorry, I'm just repeating myself over and over again ! I hope she wins but if she doesn't, that's fine :D

Seriously, I'm in love with Sooyoung's interviews. She is just so freakin' wise for her age that you can't help but wonder if she didn't lie on her age lol.

It reminds me of Kim Jae Dong saying that she was way too mature for her age. They are pretty close friends, right ? It has been such a longtime since I saw the two of them together.

 

And gosh', I'm tired with the skinny shaming on Sooyoung. I don't know if you read the articles but it just pisses me off so much.

But at the same time, I can't help but admire how strong she is. Especially with all the bashing and insults she had to overcome this year with her supposed scandals ... If I was her, I would cry all day long. I'm sure she was sad and maybe cried and all but to move on and do like nothing happened, she is amazing :D

Gah, the world is full of stupid people, right ? But at least, there are some good left (I lost all respect for Heechul though. Why did he have to mention Sooyoung ? He could have just said that most men liked curves and that's all --')

anyway, i never liked Heechul, so whatever, he's so full of himself and he thinks he's so funny when in fact, he's not...and what kind of kpop artist would say that about Sooyoung, i mean seriously? they're from the SAME COMPANY, does he hate or  something? i noticed that Heechul was never close to Sooyoung but this annoyed the hell out of me, who does he think he is to say those things about another SM artist? Suju and SNSD are so close, and every single Suju member loves Sooyoung to death, they always say amazing things about her and they seem super close to her (Siwon, Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk and Sungmin being the most obvious)

 

Heechul really needs to shut the fuck up at times like these...i know he didn't call her anorexic but what he said was rude and he was definitely shading Sooyoung...if he prefers Bora's curvy body, fine, but he didn't had to mention Sooyoung

well, most of the comments are really good, they're supporting Sooyoung =)

 

You should check on netizenbuzz and allkpop then. People here on OH are really cool and nice and mostly reasonable so thankfully, when I first heard about this, I was pleased that people defended her but then, I read netizens' comment about how Sooyoung is skinny poor/how women hate her body ... etc. And people or Elf on allkpop saying "He didn't lie though". and went on with the skinny shaming.

SERIOUSLY ???? The girl never does something wrong, never said something mean or had any scandals that she provoked on her own and see what she got from her labelmate ? Granted, it's true that most men prefer curvy bodies and women will kill to have a body where you can eat whatever you want and not gain weight but he must have knew how people will react to this. OH EM GEE, did you read about how Sooyoung is going to be the sole MC for 2013 Women Film Festival ? It's so amazing :D

Granted, I don't know much about that award ceremony and so, I don't know if it's prestigious or whatever but Sooyoung gladly accepted even with her busy schedule so she must be quite happy to be able to have such a good opportunity. I knew it, SOOYOUNG2013# !

The problem is SY was way too young for that dress. I liked its bottom, because it hugged her hips showing her tiny waist. But the top was terrible.

I would like to see her in something youthful, yet elegant.

In his next projects, be it drama or movie, the PD is going to think about her for the casting process for like any female roles but most times, when PDs say they want to cast a celebrity, it is for the female lead. Some PDs always say these kind of thing in TV but he says that in front of people in an award ceremony and directly to her. Plus, it's not like our Sooyoung hasn't the talent to back her up so it's great news for her acting career. if I understand, there were a lot of staffs like PD, writers ... etc. at that ceremony, seeing how she left a great impression by managing to make them laugh and MCed well, it's really a great exposure :D

Gosh', it reminds me of my days when I used to be a Soowon shipper and don't ask why, I switched to Sooyoung and Jung Kyung Ho couple XD. Maybe it's because since I heard about the rumor of two of them dating, can't help but find them so cuute. Plus, it's extremely weird for me that their dating rumors hit the headlines twice this year and oddly, Women Sense Magazine seems to be more and more credible after they outed actor Jae Hee and his secret wife and baby + Teddy and Han Ye Seul.

Though, I admit that I really think that Siwon and Sooyoung dated at some points but they broke up. It's the episode on Strong Heart that draws the theory.

Sorry for the long text XD. I'm just so thrilled over her loveline, it's weird.

but honestly, why would she say "yes, i'm still dating" on national tv? kpop idols lie all the time about their love life. and i totally understand why...they will never say if they're dating or not, especially if it's with another kpop idol...it's very dangerous, you know how crazy fangirls are. and even fanboys

 

i still believe she's with Siwon, there's many evidences, just go the official SooWon facebook, you have all their moments from this year. the most obvious SooWon proof is the "Woody story", i don't know if you heard about that

Sorry, I think you misunderstood or I just used the wrong words lol.

When I talked about the Strong Heart, I know that she lied or at least, there is huge chances that she lied because after the MC asked her if she was dating, Gong Hyung Jin said "it's going well/they are seeing each other well". I know he may joke but the look flustered makes me think that he was telling the truth.

After, I am saying Jung Kyung Ho because I know that GHJ is close to him and that after their two dating rumors, he is the most likely candidate especially because they are a pairing that no one expected.

But yeah, the last time I watched some Soowon pictures was months ago and at that moment, I thought that she was unconfortable and awkward next to him like people who have broken up but it may be my imagination LOL. But I'm going to see these pictures. It looks interesting :D
