If your scared of virus well get it from trusted source and get an antivirus. If your scared of legality then take the risk, find a direct download mirror or mask IP (which is not an 100% safe either) For client there's Utorrent, BitTorrent, ect. The thing about torrent sites is sometime they are hella sketchy and may even try to make you download a virus. That almost happened to me wit BitTorrent but the security on my laptop stopped it. I believe uTorrent has really annoying ads (which you can hide), installed a bitcoin miner (not entirely sure if true), then sold out to BitTorrent Inc and may have spyware as well. For example, google chrome, IE, opera and firefox are considered web clients to access webservers by using HTTP as the transfer medium hence called Hypertext transfer protocol (http). In this case, qbittorrent, utorrent and bittorrent are clients to connect with other computers using torrent file extension as file transfer medium.
