Taiwanese girl group Weather Girls announced that they are going to take the exam to become weather girls in January 2014.

The girls have become popular for conveying the weather report while singing and dancing, but now they are being resolved to become genuine weather idols. They definitely have to be resolved, since the pass rate for this exam only amounts to 5%. There are already plans to hold special study events together with their fans along the way.

Member Esse commented in fluent Japanese, “We’re already studying and it’s really difficult, but we will work very hard.â€

Will it be something like an exam for practice of journalism? Pass or fail won't affect their idol career, right?

 

It doesn't sound like a kind of fun things to do (but that's what exams are), especially with 5% pass rate ï¼ˆï¾ŸÐ´ï¾Ÿlll）.

 

Anyway, I support them in every good thing they do. Just do your best (and find time to rest also), WGs!

 Rocket News says that their exam is a national exam for weather forecasting licence. According to it, the exam has been biannually held since 1994. At each exam, 95% of the candidates fail. Throughout these 19 years, 8,843 people have passed the exam.

And I wonder she did that for what purpose? The ball looks..er..yucky.. 

 

I just noticed today that there is a new craze on YouTube in which a (Taiwanese?) guy shakes a Koala's March box for 5,000 times and the snacks become a ball.
