Anyone ever used a Nexus or any Google phones) (Pure Android) phone before?

I just got the 5x a few months ago and I love it, it was a huge step up from the junk I was using before.  But to be fair my phone before I never paid much for and it wasn't anywhere near as powerful as most phones on the market even back then.  You know it's bad when you walk in to your service provider to change phones and the guy starts making fun of your old one

I had a Nexus 4 and a week ago I got the Nexus 5 unlocked for just $150, and with Android Marshmallow I have to say that it's such an amazing, sexy, and slick experience. The phone is just so nice to hold and look at, and stock Android is best Android without messy Samsung/AT&T/etc. bloatware and clunky additions. I used the Galaxy s5 for a while, but I consider the cheaper, older, Nexus 5 to be an upgrade lol (except for the camera but I don't take very many photos).

lol what's "pure android"? if you're talking about the bloatware that samsung, lg, htc, etc. phones come with then you can easily remove them all on your own accord to make the operating system as "pure" as possible. doesn't need to be a nexus, if the only redeeming quality in a nexus you see is it being "pure android" then maybe look beyond just that option

Pure android is pretty much the bare bones of android. The manufacturers then take that and build upon it (their skins) which is what slows android down and also slows updates. also pure andriod is the foundation to do exactly what you want with the phone. Since they're also easily unlocked and rooted, customizing exactly the way you want is another huge plus.
