Me too. I want her to get more recognition but it's hard because of the other girls in the group that Starship gives opportunities. Can only hope it'll change over time, but she's also apparently being pushed back because of the dating rumor she had with the UNIQ member.

Ya, I heard that Chinese UNIQ fans refuse to support WJSN because of it lol. So it wouldn't surprise me if Starship/Yuehua are pushing Mei Qi to the back so that she's not in the limelight as much.

Nah, it's overblown by ifans who keep bringing it up, no one actually cares about that photo. Cfans are busy being upset at a lack of a music comeback if you read the comments, there was never an anti-Mei Qi sentiment.

My friend and I have decided to send gifts to Mei Qi for her birthday because the poor girl barely received anything during the fansign. She really doesn't get a lot of love from the fandom =/

that's a great idea. i felt so bad when i saw how much she received at the fansign compared to some of the other members. she's way to slept on by the fans.

I've been following wjsn since debut, but I'm very bias towards Mei Qi

she is in my top5 of my favorite female idols

I just find her so pretty and talented in both dance and singing

 

I admit I was very salty and butthurt about the lack of attention she gets from starship and the fandom, that's why I haven't followed wjsn as much as before

 

But I'll try to be more positive

It really bugs me that all the other members have gotten photoshoots or some sort of individual/group activity, but Mei Qi has been in none of them.
