ä»è½»æŸ”,晕染ç€ï¼Œä½ çš„å‘。
æ¹®çæˆï¼Œç›ˆæ»¡åŒçœ¼çš„沙。

yÇ’u wù zì shÄ“ng sÇ de xuè sè shÄ,
réng qÄ«ng róu, yÅ«n rÇŽn zhe, nÇ de fà.
guàn kàn mÄ›i lÇš rén jiÄn de yÄn huÄ,
yÄn miè chéng, yíng mÇŽn shuÄng yÇŽn de shÄ.

There exists blood red silk that lives and dies as it wills,
Still soft and gentle, coloring your hair.
[You're] accustomed to watching every strand of firework in the human world
Getting buried in oblivion and becoming sand that fills the eyes.

æµå¹´ä¸çš„石桥æ¸é£ŽåŒ–,
ä½ ç›®é€ï¼Œé‚£ç—´ç¼ ï¼Œä¸Žæ— ç‘•。

liú nián zhÅng de shí qiáo jiàn fÄ“ng huà,
nÇ mù sòng, nà chÄ« chán, yÇ” wú xiá.
àn dàn huò shì tiÄn zhÄ“n de mù guÄng,
qiÄn wàn biàn, gÅu lè nÇ de shÄng bÄ.

In the passage of time, the stone bridge gradually erodes.
You followed the departure of that infatuated entanglement and flawlessness with your eyes.
The gazes, whether bleak or innocent,
Have traced your scars for tens of thousands of times.

都ä¸è¿‡æ˜¯ï¼Œæ•…

nÇ céng chÄ« kuáng, nÇ céng zhÄ“ng zhá,
dÅu bù guò shì, gù zhÇ duÄ« zhÅng de yÄ« huá.
yÄ« cùn liú guÄng, yÄ« cùn huáng liáng,
qiÄn nián miáo huà.

You'd once been crazily obsessive. You'd once struggled.
All of that is no more than a stroke in a pile of old paper.
An inch of time, an inch of pipe dream[1],
Painting for a thousand years.

åƒå¹´å‰ä½ æ›¾è·ªå‘黄æ˜ä¸çš„雪,

而今æ惚隔世åŽæ— ç¼˜å†è§ã€‚

qiÄn nián qián nÇ céng guì xiàng huáng hÅ«n zhÅng de xuÄ›,
qí qiú jiÄng chè gÇ” xiàng sÄ« yÄo zhé chéng jué jué.
lèi shuÇ mó hú qiÄn shÄn shàng jiÇŽo jiÇŽo míng yuè,
ér jīn huǎng hū gé shì hòu wú yuán zài jiàn.

A thousand years ago, you had knelt towards the snow in the sunset,
Praying to prematurely end for good the mutual yearning that ran deep to the bone.
Tears blurred the bright moon above the thousands of mountains,
And now, vaguely, in a different lifetime, [you] are no longer fated to meet again.

åªå› æœ€åŽæœ‰ä½ æŠŠæ‰€æœ‰ç»æœ›ç»ˆç»“。

qiÄn nián hòu nÇ jiàn zhèng duÅ shÇŽo shÄ“ng sÇ lí bié,
jiÄng mÄ›i shuÄng shú xÄ« de yÇŽn xÇ dí de wú xié.

zhÇ yÄ«n zuì hòu yÇ’u nÇ bÇŽ suÇ’ yÇ’u jué wàng zhÅng jié.

A thousand years later, you've borne witness to how many partings over life and death,
Cleansing every pair of familiar eyes till they're innocent.
He had once thrown aside everything for someone, something,
Only because you're there in the end to terminate all the hopelessness.

yī duàn fēn fán yáo yuǎn de sháo huá,

nà xiÄ“ lái qù cÅng cÅng de liÇŽn páng,
cóng wèi céng, zhÄ« xiÇŽo nÇ de guò wÇŽng.

A period of complicated and distant youth
Congeals into blood beneath [your] fingers, cinnabar[2] upon [your] heart.
Those faces that come and go in a hurry
Have never known your past.

hái shÄng tòng ma? hái juàn liàn ma?
dÄng zhè suì yuè, shì tú má mù nÇ liÇŽn jiá.
yī shēng tàn wǎn, yī shēng tuò mà,
wú xū zuò dá.

Do [you] still grieve? Do [you] still yearn?
When these passing months and years attempt to numb your cheeks,
A sigh of pity, a vile curse,
There is no need to answer.

huáng quán wài réng yǒu míng yuè,
céng sÇŽ luò zài nÇ móu jiÄn.

Outside the realm of the dead, there still is a bright moon
That had once spilled [its light] between your eyes.

æ˜æ²‰é›¾éœä¸æœ‰è¤ç«æ³æ³æ˜Žçã€‚

zhÇ wèi jì diàn dÄng nián de wú huÇ wú yuàn.

But now, endless blood-color has bloomed and withered for tens of thousands of times.
In the murky mist, there are fairy lights that dimly flicker.
You imprison yourself on the periphery of the human world
For the sole purpose of holding a memorial for the lack of regret and resentment back in those days.

æ¯ä¸ªæ—…

zhè lÇ shì suÇ’ yÇ’u pí bèi yí hàn de zhÅng diÇŽn,

cái jiÄng nà xiÄ“ ài hèn mái rù zhè huáng quán yÇ’ng yè.

This is the end point of all exhaustion and regrets.
Every traveler's sorrow overlaps with you.
Only [after] you've seen innumerable pairs of eyes dead as the dust
Do you bury those [matters of] love and hate in this eternal night of the realm of the dead.

yÇ’u róng yán, míng kè yú nÇ de gÇ” xuè,
cÇ shÄ“ng yÇ wú cóng wàng què.

There is [someone's] appearance, engraved upon your blood and bone,
[Leaving you with] no means of forgetting in this lifetime.

T/N:

[1] 黄粱 refers to golden millet, and in this context, a dream of golden millet. It is a metaphor for an illusory, unrealizable dream.

[2] 砂 is technically "sand" or any such granulated substance. But since it is in association with the heart, I take it to refer to 朱砂 ("red sand") or cinnabar. Details of cinnabar and the heart can be found in a T/N here.
