Has this ever happened to you? Bullying related

I just don't understand why I get negs for things other people get upvoted for.

For example :

Someone will say -

"I think idol A needs to improve their singing"

That user gets like 5 upvotes

I will reply to them and say -

"I agree"

I get 10 negs. WTF.

Another expample :

A user says in response to thread -

"Lol"

They get like 2 upvotes

I say -

"LMFAO"

I get over 25 negs.

And this HAS happened to me a multitude of times. Bullies everywhere

Because people already don't have a high opinion of you, so they'll neg you for whatever you say.

Do you really care about negs when you're so deep in the red, though?

Not really, it's just dumb. I'd rather have people neg me for a difference in opinion rather than spite.

yeah, I notice that happened to some users that have unpopular opinions even if they are not bashing or being rude at all

some fandoms need to develop thicker skin.

It's not even about that, it's selective negging. I don't think you understand what I'm saying.

idk But maybe there's a reason? Like if you dislike xxx idol and usually bash them, and then you write "LMAO" in a thread that is bashing them, you'll definitely get negs from their fans who remember you. But if someone who never comment about xxx idol write "lol" then they might not get negged because their comment can mean anything like "lol this thread is stupid" or "lol that's funny" or "lol I agree" or whatever else.

Anyway if you joined this forum to troll (with that rep I guess you did?) then obviously this kind of things will happen and I think there are probably other users in the same situation as you lol.
