Their debut was really similar as both are very successful in their debut. Although Twice wasn't able to win any music show awards with their debut single they are still selling a lot and still charting high. 2. They both have a token dancer of the group that is so overhyped but who never really shows anything worthy of it. 3. They have a "visual" in their group that already proves to be wayyyyyy more popular than any of the other members. 4. The said "visuals" of the groups are being promoted more than the rest of the members even when sometimes the means of promotion is clearly controversial. 5. They also have more than 1 international member. 6. They do not have vocal lines in the group. These reasons make Twice seem very familiar. Well we all know JYP and his promotion tactics. So do you think Twice will end up like Miss A: popular for a little while as a group until the visual's popularity overshadows the group until they quietly fizzle out? What do you think? I think they are trying to push Twice to be that next big thing and their fandom is already pretty large so I dont see them going down the Miss A route but the key part will be how JYP pushes each member, if they start focusing on one member their is a risk it will turn out the same as Suzy and Miss A, but I think they have learned and it seems Twice will continue to do well as a group Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We keep saying "oh, let's hope it's different this time for this solo/group" but it's never different. Well, in this case, all of the members are visuals imo lol they're all so gorgeous, so it all depends on who JYP picks to be his favorites to promote the most… which I definitely hope he doesn't do because they are all so hardworking and have awesome personalities... But I think JYP's gonna push Twice really hard, probably harder than MissA, so I wouldn't worry about their future. They already have a strong fandom and their public recognition isn't bad at all for rookies, so I think because of this they're easily going to be a top girl group in the future, even though their vocal line isn't as strong.
