From time to time, I still want her to do variety shows but not as much as 2015.

 

Personally, I want her to be a lead on a korean drama. I know its a bit of a reach to ask her to be a lead already since she doesn't have prior acting activities but I believe she can do it. Knowing Hani is a perfectionist and very determined that whenever she's given a task, she'll make sure she does her best.

If all 3 were to release a solo and we get an EXID comeback...

Would it be something like this?: LE (Feb-March), Hani (May-June), EXID (August-September), BREAK, Solji (Winter Solo)

 

Yeah, I think I remember during V App Thunder Party someone translated that LE said they're planning to release a solo debut for her next year.

 

Reality speaking, that will unlikely to happen lol Collaborations, maybe, but full solo debuts for 3 of them? I doubt.

 

This is my prediction:

1 EXID Comeback (March-April)

1 Solo Debut (July-Aug) - they have to choose between Solji, LE and Hani but it will most likely be LE since she already gave a hint 

1 EXID Comeback (Oct-Nov)

Since it's pretty much guaranteed that LE is going solo next year, would you prefer 2 EXID Comebacks? Or 1 EXID + Hani Solo?

But something is telling me that if Yedang plan on 1 EXID CB and 2 Solos, it will be LE + Solji instead of LE + Hani, idk why (just a feeling).

 

Hmmmm, if Yedang believes in luck and zodiac signs and read the news above, they will push for a Hani solo next year. For me, this solo will be the 'make or break' moment for her to become IU/Suzy/Taeyon status(I know these are hard walls to climb but I truly believe Hani has what it takes) She's already 24 turning 25(korean age), so I think next year's the right time.

 

Now this is the hard part, sacrifice an EXID Comeback for a Hani debut? I'm already picturing people who are saying to let the others shine, will complain about this and will cry until forever that Hani is overrated blah blah blah, so I don't know.

Personally, of course I prefer a Hani solo... In my ideal scenario is to change LE solo to Hani solo and we still have 2 EXID Comebacks. 

 

Your scenario has the best chance to happen compared to mine since its Solji and LE you are talking about. People only complain when it comes to Hani.

 

Oh and Solji singing OSTs, I would love that. Like what Hyorin is doing now, and look at her sitting pretty at #5 Gallup Poll.

People are already complaining that EXID is all about Hani. If she does get a solo, more people will hate and say give more opportunities to Junghwa & Hyerin (which at an extent they are right, but they need to know this is K-Pop...)

I think an acting opportunity would suit Hani more than a singing solo debut. That's where the stars usually breakthrough into "An Absolute Superstar".

 

I adore all 5 EXID members, not as much as I love Hani but I promise I love them too. But I don't think Hyelin and Junghwa can handle a solo or subunit right now, just honestly speaking. For them to shine more and catch up to the unnies, Junghwa should focus on her acting and book roles from high profile dramas, not necessarily a lead role but atleast she will get her name out there. As for Hyelin, she should be in more variety shows without Hani (because people tend to focus on Hani if she's there). Hyelin is really funny I swear, she manages to get my attention away from Hani sometimes, and that's really telling. She could also join Mask King Singer? but that's already Solji's title...

 

Although my heart really prefers a Hani solo debut(I just want to hear her soothing voice), a Hani acting gig would be really nice in the long run esp if she'll land a lead role. And as I see, knets respects actresses more than idols? lol So if Hani can breakthrough the idol status and be an 'actress' in knets eyes, that would be awesome.

Next year will be another important year to EXID and Hani. They will officially debut and have activities in China under Banana Culture Project. They will have to focus on promoting in both markets Korea and China. 

 

Wait, EXID is already confirmed to be under that Wang SI Cong guy? I have mixed feelings on this. I want them to conquer China of course and Wang Si Cong name I think is one of the most influential in China? But that guy is a total douche lol I'm scared of the things he has 'personally' planned for EXID.

Yes, I read info on Twitter that they will have a press conference in China about the official debut in Jan next year. Besides, on Hot Pink digital single, I noticed production Banana Music and Banana Studio, I don't know if it's same as agency Banana Plan.. 

 

At first, I also didn't like the idea of EXID signing under this guy's company, I searched for infos about him and all are negative, lol, I want EXID to focus only in Korea first to secure their status than venture into other markets, so I hoped Yedang wouldn't cooperate with them. But it's real now and I think it's not that bad. We all know how big China market is and how dedicated Chinese fans are, if they can build their name there, fans in China can help and support EXID by buying albums, streaming songs or spend money to vote on music shows more than international fans, i guess.. T-ara is also under his company, and they're really big in China... I hope he can manage EXID properly in this market.. 

 

Wow, I haven't heard any news that EXID will officially have a press conference next year in China, and I thought I knew it all lol Last time I heard was Yedang gave a statement that they were still under negotiations and nothing is final yet.

So I guess its real... And China market is indeed very big now. Just by looking at mama votes, China votes were more than half of the percentage lol

 

I believe the girls are smart enough and they'll know if this douche is just taking advantage of them for his personal benefits or if he's really serious in EXID's future in China.

Like most of you here I want Hani to try acting in 2016 just to solidify her career but I have reservations because of Junghwa. Acting is somewhat Jungwa's thing she's been training since she was young. If Hani goes into acting she might overshadow Junghwa. 

 

Regarding Solo Album. I do think LE and Solji should be given the change for a solo but from what I see Hani's popularity is still somewhat fueling their success. Solji does a lot of solo activities nowadays, I think she would have a better chance of solo success than LE. LE's a bad ass and when people hear EXID songs for the first time majority would notice her rappings skills but not many people outside the kpop fandom knows her. I love all the girls but somehow Koreans are more interested in Hani which shows on this polls they love to do that is why I'm really torn about who should have a the solo album first. 

 

I think if Hani wants to keep her popularity she needs a solo or go into acting but that would mean she would take opportunities other members should have. I don't think variety could sustain her career she's been on a lot of variety shows, I'd be really surprise if she can show new stuff in variety shows for the entire 2016. There are lots of stuff I wish should Hani try next year but at the same time I don't want her popularity overshadowing EXID. I'm still doubtful if Yedang can handle Hani solo career without sacrificing the other members.. No offense to Miss A and Suzy fans but I don't want EXID and Hani to go down Suzy and Miss A path. If Yedang could find a balance that would be nice.

 

About the China guy, he would really help EXID's career in China but the guy named her company banana project. It doesn't sound like a safe name considering the owner is really rich brat who just made a company because he can. I fear for the girls safety rich guys who are used to getting what they want is really scary.

Hani should pass variety queen title to Hyelin next year. She already made an impact this year and she needs to move on to greater things. Hani solo is a must next year, whether it'll be acting or singing.

 

About the acting... This is the only category where Junghwa shines against other members. Solji has the singing, LE has the rapping/composing, Hyelin has variety but acting is the only thing that Junghwa has. If Hani takes that away from her, then what does she have now? Maybe they can do both? But we all know in this cruel world that people like to compare and one will always be on top against the other.

 

Now my question guys, realistically speaking, is there really a way to make all the girls popular and not be overshadowed by Hani if ever she'll do big solo projects? Its like a choice between Hani's individual popularity or the others. But if Hani won't release a solo(singing or acting) next year, her popularity might go down, Seolhyun is quickly catching up. This is just an honest observation.
