(Since she is independent and doesn't live with her parents). What are your standards? Would you date someone that doesn't have a job. I just have to feel drawn to that person for some reason or another. Edit: Nevermind I HAVE to be physically attracted to them. I've been with super attractive guys and usually they're the dirtbags. I won't date druggies tho tbh and if you're a smoker I prefer you don't do it around me cause I have asthma. I do have high emotional standards. I can't really develop a relationship with you if you're not kind, caring, patient, understanding, etc... Im finishing freshman year college and I dont care if he lacks job or car because when I first went out with my first boyfriend I like chilling out and walking around and I live in the city so we'd do things without needing so much money. Ill start caring five years down the line. Rather than say "high standards" its more like I have to have the initiative / desire to date someone. Maybe its just me, but even if I like someone that likes me back, my feelings easily change or I dont have the urge to really start anything unless I really sincerely like/love him.
