The latest that iTeen Girls can debut is Summer 2017. I think.

One thing that is known from iTeen is that they are good dancers. They are trained to be stable in singing while dancing very hard. Also, iTeen girls are very flexible. At least, all of them can do splits.

 

If they are looking for someone who will be part of the gg, they will surely look for those qualities. And Fantagio will just polish it.

 

I don't think they will just get someone because she is a good singer.

 

They would have done that (pick a good singer then train her to be a good dancer) if she's young and if the gg will debut 2019-2020.

 

(ASTRO Sanha is a fair singer when he auditioned. He's just 12 in 2012. He's not flexible and not a good dancer back then. And then, he was trained to dance well for a few years in iTeen.)

 

But taking into consideration that the gg will debut in a year or so, they will surely look for someone like MJ, good singer that is also a fair dancer. (look spoiler)

 

 

 

 

 

This is what happened during the boy group's audition last 2014. Fantagio also stated the same things. They're conducting a boygroup audition that will debut in 2014. Yes, there was a winner. He's a good singer, but for some reason, he and Fantagio parted ways few months after. Then, Fantagio continuously and silently held auditions as what they usually do, and Myungjun (ASTRO MJ) became an iTeen. (Good singer and good dancer).

 

If you look at the members of ASTRO, 2 members are 2010 trainees, 3 members are 2012-2013 trainees, and one 2014 trainee.

 

The trainee who was cut was a 2011-2012 trainee, the other trainees continuously gets in and gets out of iTeen around the end of 2014-early 2015.

 

In the end, ASTRO was only able to debut on 2016. But they were active since late 2014.

 

 

 

I think Fantagio will use the same predebut activities with iTeen Girls. So, I hope that they will debut early 2018.

She's a student at a voice hakwon at Gangnam. Don't know anything aside from that though.

A hakwon is like a school (they call it in eng trans as academy usually) where you can take classes aside from your normal school studies. More like an afterschool school.

 

So yup, it's a music school.

Lee Yoonjin is part of this audition. She's probably one of those girls.

And I think Yoonjin is pretty much a good dancer... She's one of the 2 girls here featured.

Someone asked me to delete all of Lee Yoonjin's vids on twitter... Which is quite funny because it was all ocer youtube. lol. Anyways, at least it's still posted here

It turns out she's a friend of Yoonjin's and yoonjin was worried about those videos and photo of her vocal training in the hakwon bec Fantagio don't allow them to post on SNS.

 

I deleted the tweets, but not the posts on this thread.

 

 

So, it seems that Yoonjin is confirmed as an iTeen already, I guess...

I just run through a couple of pages.

Some thoughts:

 

Fantagio was following what's popular back then because they handled HV after the Tricell split with Pledis. Fantagio is mainly an acting management. So they were very amaturish with HV. They then debuted 5urprise... but again, 5urprise members were more of actors than idols. So the first idol group that they solely handled from the start is ASTRO. They learned from their mistakes and have been more cautious with this group.

 

So, I think they'll improve more with debuting iTeen Girls.

Why don't you mention yoonjin? 😕

Seojeong and Yoonjin are at par. They became trainees before Fantagio officially announced the girl group auditions. Although both of them were not confirmed by Fantagio (Fantagio usually posts their (official) audition winners on their naver blog, but this blog has been inactive for this year. IDK why. They're probably busy.). Their hakwons were the ones who confirmed their passing of the auditions.

 

When I saw Seojeong's aud, I was really, Oh ok. Normal audition but nothing outstanding. But that was only less than a minute so I really can't judge her skills. I was just so amazed that she performed a rap.

 

Yoonjin's aud was not shown, but her audition vids were shown in FNC and BananaCulture. Her aud is much better than Seojeong. But her skills are unpolished...

 

You see, Fantagio just don't get the most skillful most talented from the auditions.

In my opinion, they look for charisma, star quality and skill.

 

Bin was not really a good singer or dancer when he joined iteen as a kid, Minhyuk was very good in dancing but I doubt that he is good in singing and rapping like now. Sanha was not a dancer nor was he flexible when he joined. Dongmin was just another pretty face (and only excels in his studies) before training with iTeen.

 

I really am not that familiar with HV and 5urprise auditions and trainings, but I think they also have skills but Fantagio polished them more.

 

Seojeong and Yoonjin were chosen, not bec they're the best of the lot, but bec they got potential and charisma that Fantagio was looking for. Fantagio doesn't need a winner who might be the best but not the kind they're looking for.

 

So in conclusion, I think Fantagio are looking for unpolished gems... and then, training them. They were like mining for rocks, and polishing them to be like gems and can be marketable.

Won't be active for sometime on twitter, here or for any Fantagio related stuffs. I just check and read OH when I got time. Crucial time for me. Busy busy. But I hope Fantagio would reveal something about their trainees. If anyone finds anything about iTeen girls, I hope they post it here.

 

Btw, Hyojung's bday will be on the 31st. If I forget to check OH then.

Kindly delete the stuff that Soojung is the girl from ASTRO's debut MV. I now believe it's not her. Also, as Sinister Panda said, (which I kind of agree), Soojung might not be with Fantagio anymore OR she is an actress trainee... But it may still be good to put her on the rumored members.

 

Also, the only photo I have is Yoonjin's vocal training. Still want that? I'll try to post it a little bit later.
